I was informed by Invision Staff today that I needed someone to watch my dog while I got a CT Scan and was asked why I didn't ask about their dog rules before I came down.
The rude young man who worked there said no dogs allowed while taking a CT Scan, he's my service dog that alerts me when I have a Epileptic episode coming on, that's why he's there.
This is the same dog that was allowed into Straub Hospital ICU unit to visit my GF All Day.
I was involved in a bad accident and spent 3 days at Queens Hospital Trauma Ward of which my dog was allowed to stay in my room even when they took CT Scans on my leg.
He said people are allergic to dogs there, My dog is a Yorkshire Maltese mix and the are Hypo allergenic.
It's a shame that companies like that can say it's Company Policy even overriding the Federal Government Law.
Beware of this company's self made policies.

Can you please tell me the difference between wearing no mask and wearing a mask at your chin? My husband and I were asked to wear a mask but didn’t have one. The lady at the desk said she could only provide one mask to the patient not to my guest! Sheez I’ll buy a mask if this is the case! My husband left and this elderly couple walked in with a mask at their chin. Not once did she ask the couple to lift their mask up. What’s the purpose of the mask policy if you are not going to enforce it with everyone! This is ridiculous! I then put my mask on my chin, every staff who walked by me did not say a word. I guess you just have to show them you have a mask and then wear it at your chin.

First visit for husband. He was on time. Quick visit. Only problem parking at Waterfront plaza was confusing but insight imaging validated parking. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I have needed to use Insight Imaging services for PET scan multiple times. I have to travel from the Big Island I have found the staff at insight imaging to be incredibly compassionate and always professional.

Not sure why orthopedic surgeon sent me to Insight Imaging for x-rays, as there appears to be no working relationship between his office and them. I had to take the X-rays from surgeon’s office to Insight and had to wait an hour for Insight to read & burn my CT scan from today to a disc so I can take those images to Surgeon for appointment next week. Would be nice to have services that support the doctor’s office, for the sake of the patient’s time. Or does that mean anything to anyone anymore?

all i can see is wow so sweet and ni e staff!! especially eileen she was my ultrasound tech. it's nice to see and meet people who cares and loves their job. love this place highly recommend once you tried insight imaging you will never go any where else ask for eileen shes amazing ultrasound technician

This place used to be like visiting a spa. Great treatment from friendly staff. Easy to work with and professional. Recently however, the service has really been lacking. My Dr ordered a Pet Scan for me and I had to call them a week later to see if I could get on the schedule. The booked me for 3 weeks out which seemed way too long. But I went and the scan was fine but the staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. I called them on 6/30 to schedule an appointment sometime in the next two weeks before an infusion I'm having. It took me 4 phone calls to get them to even answer the phone. She said the only thing they had available was 7/21 3 weeks later. When you need a PET Scan, you NEED it done within a reasonable length of time. I was told that they didn't have staff due to Covid and they were cancelling all kinds of appointments. This is NOT a way to provide patients with quality health care. I can't make the appointment on the 21st due to work obligations so will probably wait till I'm back in San Francisco where they know that these tests are time sensitive. I'm through with these people!

Brought the hubby here for his petscan, first time here. Located in the Waterfront Plaza on Ala Moana Blvd Easy to find, use your GPS. Parking structure on site. Insight gives full validation The business is conveniently located on the ground floor & a short walk from the parking area. Staff is friendly & professional. They still follow covid protocols, which we appreciate - temp check upon entry, masks required, & hand sanitizer provided. Waiting area was nice & roomy with a TV. Chairs were socially distance spaced. They told us the appt would be around 2 - 3 hrs. I was surprised that he was done in 2 hrs. He was given a nice goody bag of snacks: 2 bottles of Hawaii Water, pkg of Planters peanuts, KIND energy bar, bag of Popcorners kettle corn, & the best - a box of 3 cookies from Big Island Candies I had brought my own lunch while I waited. Missed seeing the no food or drink sign at the door so when I got out my sandwich the front desk gal politely told me I had to eat outside. No biggie, the plaza provides ample tables & chairs throughout its facility. There are a few fast food type places at the plaza, good variety, if you choose to eat while you wait.

Very convenient location in downtown, at Restaurant Row. When you park, go to the stairs leading to the makai side. Insight Imaging is at Waterfront Bldg 5, just to the right, across from Ruth's Chris. They provide free validated parking. Here for a PET scan for my dad. And considering my interactions with them (won't bore you with the details with my dad wanting to cancel the appointment and then his other doctor telling him to do it), I have not had anything negative to say. Their procedures are very straightforward and their customer service is exemplary. The staff on the phone and in person are all very calm, patient, friendly. Regarding the PET scan, the first interaction is usually them calling you via phone to schedule an appointment. Usually during this call, they ask some screening questions and email you instructions on what and what not to do to prep for the PET scan. They'll call again a few days prior to ensure that you are still good to go for the appointment, and may have other followup screening questions. Remember, that there is a cancellation fee if no cancellation notification prior to 24 hours of the appointment time. One of the instructions that my dad had to do was to not wear anything metal. He still showed up with pants with zipper, so they gave him pants to change into. The lobby waiting area has lots of seating, seats that can fit two people, spaced out. Then in the private single prep rooms, there is a nice big comfy reclining chair for the rest time before the PET scan. The doctor/technician was very clear on describing the procedure for me to translate to dad and very open to questions. Very approachable. I am very happy with my experience with Insight Imaging.

We cant say enough about how wonderful this team of medical professionals is - from Kevin picking us up and dropping us at the airport, to the team inside- we felt like family. These people care- they listen and they genuinely seem concerned about your health. Today was one of the most stressful days of my life to approach- but the family at insight imaging took all the fear away- purely professional- completely compassionate- outstanding in every way;)Thanks u guys :) ?
