Employees are not pushy and will tell you the promos. The items are mostly, if not all, locally made.

Great store filled with local art. Beautiful pieces. I loved looking around and found a piece I had to have and requested it from Dani. When she couldn’t find it in store she tracked down the very last one at another location. Had it brought to Waikīkī so that I could purchase before I left the Island. Dani was great at helping me out and I will definitely be shopping online and will visit in the future!

I love this store so much!!! So fun to try out the scenery option with frames and wood cuttings. The possibilities are absolutely endless!!! They have great featured artist and if you can’t get the real expensive art from the actual artist, they have the art on different printed merch.

There is an older caucasian lady that is probably the manager of the store. Nasty old woman. Yucks. Pretentious old woman, pretending to be nice and friendly. But is actually a snake inside

This shop is adorable! The perfect gift that you CAN'T get anywhere else. They helped me get creative and make an adorable gift for my mom. I love that the artists are all Hawaii based. ❤️

Cheaper to buy at Ala Moana Shopping Center
A product that combines small parts costs $8 each, but at Ala Moana it was $5.

What a special place! If you, like us, want to support local business in your vacation souvenir shopping while also procuring a unique and memorable item, look no further. The concept is that you build a long board and add different items that represent your trip to Hawaii. It’s hard to describe without a visual, so please see the image of the souvenir we built. This consists of the Longboard base, and we added the following items: Palm Trees Background, waves foreground, and surfboard, rainbow, turtle, whale tail, ukulele, & “Hawaii” text. What you see is how we arranged the items. It is an items we look forward to displaying in our home to remember our amazing trip to Hawaii.

We paid over $60 for a small surfboard/stickers which was wrapped and taped in store by the employee. Unfortunately, when we unwrapped it at home the paint on the 'hawaii' sticker was removed by the tape used by the employee. Nice store but not the best quality.

CocoNene at the International Market Place is wonderful! Nina Guzman and her staff have created a fun, creative space complete with a photo op area and "living room" where we watched families create their own wood treasures to take home. We can't wait to return and to order online from CA. Thank you Nina for your warm aloha!

While on vacation we visited this location 2 times. Both times we were blown away with not only the products but the customer service of everyone working here is genuine and top tier. They go above and beyond to explain the products and help you with anything you need/want. I don't recall the names of those that helped us on our first visit but I can tell you that Maddie and Dani were very pleasant, insightful, full of suggestions, and just overall an asset to this business. Thank you all for your assistance and great attitudes.

We came into the store earlier on our trip, and I love the concept! Supporting local artists, offering things that are customizable, even the experience of making the product is fun! Our preschooler had the best time just building different scenes with the pieces offered. We didn't buy anything when we visited on the first day of our trip because I wanted to create a board with pieces that related to memories we made on the trip. We rushed back after dinner on our last night, and the process took us so much longer than we thought because the possibilities are endless! The examples around the store and other customers' creations serve as awesome inspiration, and the staff were so helpful in giving us tips, such as sliding pieces in between slots to create more layers if we needed the room. In terms of selection, we were only disappointed that for the people pieces, they had a boy and a girl, but not of different ages, or a baby to represent our infant on the trip. My husband asked and they confirmed they did not have these options for the board, but that they had a younger little boy wooden sticker. Jackpot! We were then able to have each of our family represented on the board. We ended up getting some other stickers too to add to our board, like having a sun up next to the palm trees, and having the boys next to a pineapple, and having one of us "hold" a spam musubi. A great memory we had during the trip was seeing triggerfish on a glass bottom boat tour and struggling to pronounce "humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa", and we wanted a fish for the board. But the one they had was a little too big for our preference, so instead we got the sticker version which was smaller. Pro tip to not sleep on incorporating the sticker options - there are so many cute ones! The whole thing ended up being really expensive for what it is (we had some sticker shock at check out!!) but the store is very upfront with pricing, and every piece is clearly labeled with a price. It's just that all the pieces easily add up and before you know it, you're spending over $100 for a sign haha. But it is our family's main souvenir from this trip, and we enjoyed putting it together. We think it's great that local artists are featured, and the place is welcoming and clean. And best of all are the staff - everyone we interacted with was so incredibly nice and helpful, and we were *those* customers who stayed later past closing hustling to finish our piece before flying home the next morning. Our preschooler also took out a lot of pieces to build with and I kept putting them away to minimize the mess. Thankfully, the people working were beyond nice about all of this - we're so grateful! One was named Dani, and the other one had a "Coco" name tag but she was a trainee and didn't have her own name tag. Thanks so much to both of you!

Love this store!! Dani was so nice and helpful. She helped us figure out shipping for a large piece and really just made the experience amazing! We also bought coasters but they didn’t have the stands for them until the next day. She took the time to call me to let me know that they had them!
