Shopping for specific items and passing J.Crew current location in the Ala Moana Center on the 4th level above the Centerstage which is smaller than the old location still seems to have a decent amount of choices but doesn't seem to be a good as the former.A bit difficult to shop around on this visit with a few ladies as well, not being a regular here made it harder to shop and browse only when I locked eyes with the associate that she greeted me which really doesn't bother me as I like to shop at my leisure.Nice and neat store all organized so I was hesitant to tear it all apart to see what the folded items looked and priced, I should shop online to see the comparison and decide the next time I visit as the experience there was a bit boring.Thank you!

I went in here this afternoon. I went to the fitting room and asked a man if I could try something on; he said yes and to take an empty room. When I was changing a woman who works there was complaining pretty vocally about how I took a fitting room that was meant for someone else. It was pretty rude. I’m not sure why the other woman was more entitled to the empty room. It didn’t have any indicator it was in use. Anyway I won’t come back. Not here for passive aggressive behavior like that.

Here's my recent experience at this store: I was greeted upon entering, the store was very nice and tidy. After trying on my items I was asked how everything was and I said it was good and that I will be purchasing. The female SA said "good" and walked away. I found that odd-I expected her to offer to bring my items to the register. The sale jewelry was next to the register in the back of the store, not easily accessible. I left the store feeling the service was strange- SAs were pleasant but not helpful or maybe disinterested?

My family came in the other night and one of the employees (South Asian gentlemen, possibly the closing manager) was very rude to me and my wife. My guess is that he didn't like that we were shopping just before closing. Anyways, he was very kurt in our interaction when I purchased an item. And when I left the store and tried to come back literally 2 min later to make a purchase I forgot to get, he didn't open the door and pointed to his watch. There was still a couple customers in the store and I said, "I was just here and need to get one more item." He ignored me and turned around. Terrible customer service.

Usually I don't buy things from here, but I haven't updated my wardrobe in some time and I might as well enjoy my vacation. They have a lot of cashmere clothing. Some are 100% cashmere, and some have a mixed blend of cotton and cashmere.I should have grabbed a few more items, but I still have to make room for items for family and friends.

First let me say we like to shop on line for gifts and personal clothing and rarely go to the store here in Ala Moana Center on Oahu. And this is where our story begins ... For the last couple of times that we visited this store to shop, we were treated horribly. Yes we were greeted as we walked in the door, but god forbid you ask for assistance or if they have your size. because when they say I will check if we have it... It's like that movie " Fifty First Dates... " they just forget about you and hope you find it yourself or worse that you leave the store in Frustration! Like today. 10/17/21 What is the most bothersome is that this is Hawai'i and with all the things that are happening around us, you would think that this is the last place to see workers acting so WHITE PRIVILEGED to their customers. It was Sad! We hope that this is just a coincidence and not the reflection of J.Crew as a company. Whats sad is today we decided to stop shopping at J.Crew for now. We hope that someone from J.Crew sees this and try to make it a better place then what it is now We will still shop at Ala Moana Center, there is lot more shops and great food with friendlier people who work there. .

Went in to purchase a blazer and a couple pairs of pants that I had seen online. Walked in and picked it multiple styles by myself, not even greeted by the three people working. There were only two other shoppers in the store, none of which were needing assistance. I finally asked if I should just let myself into the fitting rooms and one of the male sales associate replied "yeah". This was literally the ONLY word said to me the entire 15 min I was in the store. No greeting. No acknowledgment, not even a goodbye when I left. I won't be returning. You would think with brick and mortar retail stores on the decline that there would be a little more effort but oh well. Their online store has better deals anyway and I get just as much human interaction.
