Nestled in the heart of Honolulu, JMJ STRING STUDIO, LLC has been nurturing the love of music since 1997. Offering violin and viola lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels, the studio provides a welcoming environment for aspiring musicians to thrive. Under the tutelage of Jean-Michel Jacquon, a French violinist and violist with over 20 years of experience as a full-time member of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, students receive personalized instruction tailored to their unique musical aspirations, igniting their passion for creating beautiful melodies.
Jean-Michel is wonderful! After lesson one he had already taught my son his first song on violin. 2.5 years later and he is concertmaster for the school's advanced orchestra! Mahalo for being an amazing teacher Jean-Michel!

Mr. Jacquon is an amazing teacher who is skillful, patient, and fun to learn from. He works extremely well with young learners and pays attention to details. My daughter learns to enjoy playing violin, especially playing duo with Mr. Jacquon. You can clearly feel the passion for music.
