This was unfortunately the worst dining experience while visiting Honolulu on 4/16/24. The restaurant has a very displeasing odor of mildew and the old dirty crab tanks do not add to the ambience. I could have overlooked this though if the food would have made up the difference. It did not. The pepper steak was disgusting. The meat had a bad aftertaste and was soaked in gravy. The peppers and onions in the dish were minced and barely present. The cost of the meal was insulting at a whoping $90. We took 2 bites of our meal and left. Never again. ?

Stop what you’re doing and come eat here!!! There’s a lot of mediocre restaurants in the area and this is not one of them, me and my fiancé are definitely coming back next time we are in Waikiki the food the drinks, the service every single thing was above our expectations!! my fiancé says it’s the best Chinese he’s ever had and believe me he’s not easy to please lol this place is outstanding. I wish I could give it more stars.!!! Even if your vegan order the pork!!

We ordered the Taishan Crab and Peking Duck, both were delicious. Big portions, definitely too much food for just the two of us. Rice costs extra. Service was friendly.

Tasty Chinese Restaurant. Fresh crab. More than our expectation as we thought this is may be tourist restaurant but turn out very delicious. On our day crab was 42 USD per pound. 1 crab was 116 USD. Beijing Duck was good too. We will be back for other dishes.

Taken to our table and promptly asked to order which we did. My friend asked for fried rice and was given steamed rice. When she asked about her fried rice she was told the dish was too big for her to finish. The service was really abrupt and we felt very unwelcome. I left a tip but the waitress asked for more money.I wouldn’t recommend.

Well what can I say about Kirin! The fact that the cockroach running up my foot should of been a warning, the elderly head waiter brought out the wrong main course, he didn’t care and they just put the wrong dish on our table and walked off as he was disputing my order. Terrible head waiter and very very rude, could have handled the whole situation differently. Will never come back to this place as he ruined our experience, with the neighbouring table also saying how rude he was to him.

It was delicious food. I have been several times in China and I could say that this place gives you an experience of real Chinese food. My husband and I ordered Beijing duck, dim sum, and fried rice. Everything was great. The service was good. We did not wait for long, they brought us food so quickly.

I came here for the first time in four years this year.Surprisingly, Mr. Wang retired last year...There is a cheerful Japanese man in his place, but it would definitely be better if he was a little more friendly!Too fussy.Steamed shrimp and spring rolls remain the same. However, this time, the teppanyaki beef pepper grill and beef and broccoli (katayaki version) were delicious.-2017 May-Mr. King!thank you as always! !

The price is expensive and an 18% tip is included in the bill. LOL. Don't go. It doesn't feel good.
