Kris is the owner of KT Kustomz and this guy can paint. Before I show how good he can paint, let me tell you why you should choose his business. Got quotes from other paint shops. First of all, most of those doing collision repair will not do your paint job without repair. Quote from a shop In Pearl City was the cheapest price for their best paint job. It would take 2 to 3 weeks and they only mask everything. If you want something taken off they charge for each item. Also their reputation for quality paint job not that good. 50 -50 chance you will be happy. Next I went to a shop in Kalihi. Again 2 to 3 weeks. When I was told the price, wow, I said don't want to buy a truck I just want it pained. Next I went to another shop in Kalihi. Price was what I thought it should be and turn around 2 weeks. However, he said I am painting one just like yours now and then said it is parked down the street. Oh yeah, down the street in Kalihi industrial area, No thanksOk , now for KT Kustomz: met Kris who is a soft spoken man and exudes self confidence. He quoted a fair price and a reasonable turn around time. Explained that they remove doors etc to make it like a factory paint job. Furthermore, they don't start on a vehicle and put it aside to do another one. His workers continuously prep the vehicle until ready for paint. He uses the best paint and clear coat (Sherwin Williams ultra) out there. When it comes to choosing a color if you haven't one in mind he will make recommendations. He also stated, the color you pick, is the color you get and when done it will look like a new vehicle. His attention to detail is outstanding. Everything that I expressed of my concerns was addressed. Even painted inside the gas tank refill door. So, to me, it was an easy choice. THIS GUY CAN PAINTNow that the truck is finished, I can say I am 100% happy that I had KT Kustomz paint my truck.
