I often visit Magnolia Boutique & Gallery. There are a lot of beautiful pictures and jewelry and so on. I love the artist named Peggy hopper. Her art is so pleasing to me! And also I like the shop’s owner Maggy she is so helpful!

Staff was very helpful, warm and friendly. The gift I purchased was wrapped beautifully by one of the employees (I didn’t get her name). She showed me the different pieces of the same item (as they were each hand painted and slightly different upon comparing) in which I ended up purchasing. She also provided gift wrap options. I also ended engaging in a conversation with Marlene and appreciated connecting with her. Lovely person! Both were very kind and made it very comfortable to shop in the store. Happy to say my client loved his gift bought from Magnolia!

I really wanted to like this store. Such gorgeous things that reflect the beauty of Hawaii. What made my visit junk was the overbearing staff following me around. I get it. My appearance doesn't match the typical demographic that usually comes in. But come on. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Contrast this with how I am received at places like Fighting Eel and Native Books and Beautiful things...they are not afraid of brown people. Ended up not buying anything. I'll go directly to the artists to support their work.

This is one of my go-to stores when looking for a gift in any price range. There is a wide variety of items ranging from jewelry, clothing, accessories, artwork and more! Love that Maggie supports many local artists and her selection is tasteful and classy. We recently purchased Peggy Hopper’s “Walk By The Sea” sister paintings as an engagement gift and the bride-to-be was overwhelmed by the beauty of these paintings. Very highly recommend stopping by to shop at Magnolia!

A store that you can't help but stop by.
I fell in love at first sight with a cute painting depicting the eight Hawaiian islands with flowers❣️, so I bought a Root99 hat.
I stopped by again in 2024.
I bought a small square painting of a Hawaiian monk seal and the ocean and plumeria.
I always look forward to returning home, purchasing frames, and displaying them.
The staff are always different, but they are all very kind.
When I bought a painting of the eight Hawaiian islands, I pointed to each island with the cashier and confirmed the names of the islands: ``Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Lanai, Kahoolawe, Molokai, and the Big Island.'' I remember matching lol ^ ^

Let me say this. As a native Hawaiian supporting local artists we sometimes do not receive the warmest welcome when entering an establishment. Magnolia is the total opposite of that. From the moment my daughter and I stepped in we felt completely welcomed and at home. The owner, Maggie is an absolute gem. We purchased a tahitian pearl bracelet by a local artist for my sister's birthday and she absolutely LOVED it! My daughter purchased a necklace for herself as well. The experience was so memorable that we returned a week later. I purchased my 2nd diffuser (OMG the aroma is to die for) and some prints from a local artist that will look fabulous in my living room. We will continue to return to support our local artist community and for the sheer joy it brings us to visit. TRUST me, before you visit the "other" similar popular stores. Magnolia should be your first stop. You will thank me for it!

I wanted these incredible diffusers and the only place I found them were here! Maggie shipped them all the way from Hawaii to Florida! She took such care when packaging the diffusers, we are so grateful. Can't wait to see the shop in person someday!

What a beautiful store with a lovely collection of Hawaiian artists' works! Found a nice bottle of fragrant Pikake air mist! Couldn't wait to try the fragrance at home and was not disappointed! Love the warm and friendly Magnolia staff, too! Thank you, Maggie, for carrying so many of our locally made products in such a fine venue. Aloha and mahalo.

No matter how many times I came this store to look around. The customer service is never there. Not even a "Welcome " or a " thank you ". Just a cold stare as I walk inside. They always have this stare like I'm gonna steal something. I hope they be a bit more enthusiastic with customers coming in no matter they're looking around or planning to buy something.
