It’s a decent convenience store, but not necessarily convenient since Manoa Marketplace is the next block over. Good place to get something to wrap your wiener in.

I used to live on Oahu and frequent this store as a customer and as a vendor. The owner and his family were always very nice and courteous to their customers. I witnessed the interaction between the owners and staff with their customers and I have never seen them treat anyone unfairly. My interaction with them on the business level was also very pleasant.I did notice though the negative reviews for Manoa Mart were mainly from people with a Mainland city and state. Our ways and culture are different from the Mainland.I get it about the dog poop bag, maybe the owner just had enough and that was the last straw. Can you imagine if everyone did that, the smell would affect their business since people go there for their food. The trash bin is very close to the doorway. Perception can affect any business.

I have been going to Manoa Mart for years. The staff are kind and helpful. The store itself is clean and well organized. It appears to be a family run business. They took time in 2020 to update the store, it looks great!Their musubi are delicious! In addition to hot spam musubi they sell a variety of prepared hot food such as hotdogs. There are also baked goods like apple fritters, banana bread, and brownies. Like other convenience stores they sell candy, ice cream, slushies, soda, and also have commercially packaged ramen available. When I want a snack but don't want to deal with crowds and Peking at Manoa Marketplace, I love going to Manoa Mart. They accept credit and debit cards, however Manoa Mart charges a 50 cent service fee for using credit cards when purchasing under $10, so bring cash if you're not planning to spend less than $10 if you'd like to avoid the service fee.

Mahalo Manoa Mart for saving my life today Are these musubis made today? OF COURSE says MISTER So friendly and courteous ... I was stressing on kid friendly snacks for the beach- and they had one dozen fresh musubis that the kids not only enjoyed but DEVOURED. Praise God for finding this little gem in MANOA - Go with confidence and remember to be nice - because it's human nature to treat an asshat, like an asshat

NEVER COME HERE. Staff are so DISRESPECTFUL. Really rude for no reason when all I wanted was to buy a lighter.

I have come here and had the average gas station/convenience store type of experience here. When I was little, we used to come and get slush puppies. I had a not so great experience being yelled at by one of the owners/workers (at least I think it was one of them). The woman happened to be outside of the store when I was walking my dog. I sometimes will put the bag with waste from my dog in the trash can right outside the store since it's on my walking route. The woman from the store started yelling at me. I had my headphones on, so I didn't realize she was yelling to me at first. Once I realized, I took my headphones off to hear what she was saying. The woman was yelling at me about the doggie bag that I had put in the trash can, saying "don't put the bag in there. Pick it up. Take it home/throw away somewhere else. It makes it stink." She kept yelling this over and over again at me. I replied that I was sorry, that I thought it was okay, and that I would pick the bag up to take it somewhere else. I would've picked up the bag right after I put my headphones back on, but the woman just kept yelling at me. Then a younger woman (I'm thinking the woman's daughter/relative/other worker) came over and more kindly said that I could leave it this time. She explained that, as I could imagine, having lots of people throwing away their doggie bags makes it stink. She requested that next time I throw it away else where. I replied that I'll take the bag and that I totally understand. If the first woman just said it like the way the 2nd woman did, I would have been okay and just taken the bag somewhere else without a hassle. I understand why they may not want people to throw away their dog bags in there and will be more conscious of that. All I was thinking was that it's a trashcan on my route. Maybe I should have been more thoughtful or considerate of the inconvenience that it would make for them, but it didn't seem warranted to continuously yell at me when I apologized in a polite manner and was going to do what the woman requested. Maybe the woman should more kindly talk to people or have a sign that asks people to please dispose of their dog's bags elsewhere.

Just a normal mini mart with Korean food selections ran by good hearted people. I saw one of them helping a homeless guy. I heard the Kim Chi fried rice was good, I usually only go here for cigarettes but wanted to highlight the nice people who own/work here so others could support local.

The people who staff this store are assholes. Literally every time I've come in I've had an uncomfortable experience.

So on the day of 10/23 I went to Manoa Mart to purchase two alcoholic beverages and to heat up my lunch the first thing I did when I walked in was went straight to the microwave to heat my food there was a older Korean guy at the cashier he approached me and asked me if that was my food and I replied yes and then you told me and I couldn't use the microwave unless I asked first so I did and proceeded and then when it came time to ring me up he never asked for my ID for the alcohol beverages and so I told him maybe you should ask for people's IDs it's a big fine you can lose your license and I left so the very next day 10/24 around the same time I went in to heat up my food purchase some drinks the first thing I said to him when I walk in I asked him if I can heat up my food and he replied no and I told him what's the microwave there for then he replied for himself and I asked him so if somebody b u y s cold food from here you're not allowed to use the microwave and he replied yes they cannot so I told him that I'm going to call the police and then after a while waiting for the police to contact me I got impatient so I went back in to tell them that they can call the police and proceeded to warm up my food and then him and his wife got in my face trying to grab me yelling at me flicking me off telling me to leave very very racist I couldn't f****** believe it and as I'm leaving the store there was a younger Korean guy walking up to the door as the lady was following me out yelling at me flicking me off and look at the younger guy with a smile telling him to come in come in please come in now tell me that ain't racist f*** that store and the people that work there I know I put one star because you can't post it unless you do but that store should be f****** shut down those people need to go back wherever they came from

Love this store. Super convenient and always got the grinds. The owners are nice and provide great customer service. I find that our family tends to go here even if Longs or Safeway has the items we are looking for. They have competitive prices, super convenient and great hours. Thank you Manoa Mart.

The people here are extremely rude and confrontational unless it's an emergency don't go here unless you like being yelled at for no reason
