I stopped by to get my early lunch, Ahi Poke Bowl, for $8.37 with tax included, which is a very cheap price. It was delicious also and so convenient. The diet pepsi was only $0.60, which was also so cheap. Very cheap and convenient so it is a great spot for cheap lunch while passing by.

FREE access to the public (no membership needed now) Love that Hawaii has amazing Japanese and asian shops here. Marukai has been my go-to for Asian snacks, bentos, Sake/Whiskey, freshly made sushi and lunch sets, specialty items from Japan and beauty items.
Sushi is broke da mouth. 🤤 Their rice factory inside has some of the best rice I've ever had, and I'm happy I can buy a bag to take home and cook! I have been coming here for over 10 years and this is the best place to buy Japanese items in my opinion.

Great selection of household items and groceries. Also, really good fresh food, sushi, and great drink selections. Nice having marukai here so I don't have to go all the way to don quiote.

Love ... love ... love this store. It has a wide variety of Japanese foods, condiments, snacks, vegetables, meats, etc. You can also get good quality rice that was grown and mild in Japan. Good place for sashimi and sushi. Great food court area to pick up Bentos and sushi for lunch. You can also pick up other Asian Bentos. The sundries section also carries pots and pans, chopsticks, little container sets, dishes, etc. There are tabi-style socks, t-shirts, cleaning supplies. It's an all-in-one store to pick up a variety of Asian items.
