It has really helped my 9th grader, although she still struggles the support and confidence in her ability to learn are so worth it.

Our kids are new to the program. I was worried they would be bored and uninterested since it was summer break.
We are happily surprised that the challenges kept them eager to return even more then we had them scheduled.

this place is horrible and I went here it does not teach you it just gives you work and they don't explain your mistakes they just circle them and don't say thing. I would say to you parents, save your money and go to this place because it is hell for your child and their so called teaching is a shit.

My son has been in Mathnasium for over 4 years- even during the pandemic. We moved off island 3 years ago but continued with the Honolulu location because my son always enjoys his math classes. The teachers and owners, Fred and Erin, are so kind.

I went into Mathnasium with a goal in mind. I wanted to get a better score on my ASVAB. I worked closely with Fred, Erin, and their wonderful instructors who introduced me to methods in math that helped me understand this subject in a way I never thought I would. Don't get me wrong, I'm no mathematician but it felt so good to finally learn a subject that I have always struggled with. MAHALO NUI LOA to Fred, Erin, Pete, Brandon and the whole team! I highly recommend this program!

My husband and I were looking for a place to get my daughter to understand math better so we decided to check out Mathnasium. We thought Mathnasium would be perfect because it was in a great location really close to my mom. My daughter is staying with my mom half a day during the summer. I called one day and no one answered. I didn't leave a message or anything but soon after someone called me back. It was pretty great. Erin explained all about their program and how they can help students get better at math. She said they were running summer specials and said that we could check it out and get a free assessment for my daughter. We decided to come check it out that Saturday. We came in around 10:30am. The parking can be hairy. They have two parking locations but at first we only knew of the one. The one we knew of was up a ramp. That parking has maybe five stalls and they were all full. My husband just dropped us off. Later I went outside to tell him where the other parking was but it was so tight in the lot that I had to guide him to get out and down the ramp. Meanwhile, inside, my daughter was doing her math assessment with one of the teachers. I waited for a little bit and soon she came out with the teacher and her assessment. The teacher talked more about their program and their specials and what they would do to help my daughter. They have a rewards program also. So if they complete their work they can save up and get some really good prizes from their prizes shelf. They even do a monthly drawing for up to $50 for a student. I liked several things about this program and the staff are super friendly. But in the end we decided to choose a different program for my daughter. But this is definitely some place that you should check out if you're child needs extra math help.

Erin and Fred were the best! Awesome customer service, responsive, fast, effective and great attention to details. My kid made a lot of progress in Math and her confidence has grown so much. We love Mathnasium! Shout-out to Grayson, who is super nice and always supportive in every session! Sending aloha from Madrid!

I have never been to one, but I have been hearing this and it really opened my eyes in why this is so successful. I tutored Math to other people in prepping for college, but I should of used them instead and being able to bring this to the West side of the island of Oahu. I think having the drive out there will be well worth the trip.

Our experience with Mathnasium has been and continues to be amazing. The staff genuinely enjoy what they do and are extremely good at doing it.My children hated math. There is no simple way of putting it.Their school teachers, my family and I tried everything we could look up or think of. Yet, no matter what we tried... they just hated math. From day one during our Mathnasium orientation, one of the employees gathered my children together (which is a major achievement in itself) and started to play a game with them. The game was a simple card game, but it immediately peaked their interest and they have been hooked on the powers of math ever since.Mathnasium has completely changed my children's views on and temperament towards math. Instead of dreading math problems now, they literally compete over who gets to try and answer it first. From despising math to looking forward to Mathnasium and even requesting extra classes daily, as a parent I could not be more satisfied with the results of making this investment into my children's future. All in All: EXTREMELY WORTH THE INVESTMENT

So I wanted to wait and have my son go through the 6 month program before I left my review. First off, the owners Fred and Erin Schultz are so kind and very accessible for both parents and students. It's easy to contact them and they are very accommodating. Second you can sign up monthly or term ( 6 months or 12 months for elementary or middle school students) with a price reduction for the longer the commitment. We were allowed to attend up to 4 times a week with each session being 1 hour. By attending the maximum of 4 times a week it made each session roughly $25 once u include tax. I think it's very on point with what you would pay somewhere else and there's an added benefit of them really getting to know your child. Again it would be less if you signed up for the year. To encourage the kids there's a prize corner they can work towards redeeming, a monthly cash drawing and fun snacks and stuff can also be redeemed. My son had a very positive experience and would often text me on his lunch break to sign him up for an afternoon session when he didn't understand his homework. Some important things to know: 1. Mathnasium provides its own curriculum so your entire hour is split into sections. 20 min is allotted for your child's personal homework, if you only want to focus on your child's current school work, this program may not work for you. 2. They provide both in session and online programs so your child can work from home if preferred. 3. They are open 6 days a week and are only closed on Fridays and federal holidays. 4. I highly recommend you bring in your child's Math syllabus and turn it in to Mrs. Schultz. Request that she line up the Mathnasium curriculum lessons as best she can with your child's school lessons. This is something I did not do ( slipped my mind with all the covid madness and home schooling) and I WISH I DID!! Thank you to Fred and Erin for everything they helped my boy accomplish!

Our daughter has only had a few weeks of Mathnasium (twice a week) and we can already see the difference! I’m so glad we put her in this program, she is really enjoying math now.
