Honestly i'm very disappointed. My vehicle was picked up in december and today it because available for pick up here in Honolulu. Upon pick up the front end of my car is scratched down to the plastic, my registration was taken out of my vehicle and was NOT in my vehicle when it arrived to island. the 2 gallons of gas that was in the vehicle when i gave it to them was gone, before i shipped the car out i called to verify that i can leave a quart of unopened oil in my car. I go open my trunk and even my oil is gone, whether they had to put it in the car is unknown to me. Behind my driver seat was soaked, you can see the color difference in the carpets. My vehicle was completely empty, there's no reason my floor should be soaked especially if it was in a container. I will not be using this company again. Not worth the $3K.

Matson was very professional, efficient and on top of everything. They were the only part of my move that was not stressful. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommended!

I thought this was going to be a typical Hawaiian process. But I got my car in 8 minutes. Matson was so efficient and very good with their communication. I would recommend them to transport your vehicle across the pacific ocean either way. They are super friendly and extremely efficient. Just check their hours, they take a very long lunch.

I picked up my car today. I have to admit, I blew through their doors like a cyclone full of energy...not in a rude or bad way, just more LA than HI. They were so chill and calm that it took me a second and I had to consciously adjust. There's nothing greater than the gentle reminder to live aloha. Super easy. Super fast. Super professional and all with the spirit that reminds you that you're home now, so calm down. Haha!. Mahalo Nui to the entire crew at Matson Honolulu.

Matson caused DAMAGE to my car during shipment as well as took 2 weeks longer to deliver my car then quoted. I worked very closely with JNL Global and Matson to deliver my car to Maui Kahului on a certain date 5/24 to have it shipped out the following day to arrive in Honolulu shipping out with in a week and delivered to Oakland on 6/9/23. They let my sit in Maui for over 2 weeks and did not ship to Honolulu as promised causing my car to be delivered a month later. In addition my car was damaged during the shipping process as out was not secured correctly. Do not do business with them as they over book under deliver and damage your vehicle. Unfortunately not a lot of options when trying to get your vehicle shipped out of port. After considerable delay trying to determine where the car actually is, the "customer service" person told me it is STILL IN HONOLULU. I now have to rent a car for a month when I had planned to have my car own available, I would have given them zero stars if that were an option.

DO NOT USE MATSON TO SHIP YOUR CAR. I delivered my car to them in Kahului HI for shipping to Oakland CA on April 12. Estimated pickup date was May 26. The estimated pickup date given on the tracking page of their website never changed, and Matson never contacted me to say there was any problem. It is now May 25, and I called to confirm the car would be available tomorrow as planned. After considerable delay trying to determine where the car actually is, the "customer service" person told me it is STILL IN HONOLULU. Not only that, she refused even to apologize. I now have to rent a car when I had planned to have my car own available, and there is no assurance Matson will compensate me for this expense. I would have given them zero stars if that were an option. I had planned to ship my other car with them but will now use a competitor. REPEAT: DO NOT SHIP YOUR CAR FROM HAWAII TO THE MAINLAND WITH MATSON.

Not a good experience!! They overbooked containers (not sure how you do that). then no communication on my car, I had to do all the research myself and it took days. My car is now going to be two weeks later than anticipated and no explanation or even a discount. No sorry just a we overbooked and can't help it. it's not guaranteed to get in a container soon. 2300 dollars and a bad experience

$2500 worth of my damage to my truck when it arrived. Mason does not care about your property. They care about cash. They will wreck your stuff, make it impossible to file a claim, and have zero remorse about it. Work with YB all day.

I shipped my car from the Oakland port to the Honolulu port and it took way less time that I had originally expected. Upon arriving at the Oakland port they estimated my car to get to Hawaii in 10 days, which was already so much shorter than I had originally assumed. Then the car actually came 4 days early, so in total it only took 6 days to ship which I thought was pretty amazing. Total shipping cost was around $1600 - they more recently upped their prices from $1500 to $1600. Once you are notified that your car arrived, you have 4 BUSINESS days to store it at the lot for free. After that they will start charging you per day (including weekend days) and the fee increases the longer it is there. This worked out well for me because I had a rental car when my car arrived and no extra spot to park my car at the same time, so I had to leave my car at the port for 3 business days until my rental was done. Pickup was super easy. I got a Lyft to Matson Auto Receiving and Delivery: 51 Pier, Honolulu, HI 96819 (DO NOT go to the 1411 Sand Island Parkway address they provide online - it will send you to the wrong building down the street). Then I just had to give them my booking number and ID. I waited for maybe 10 minutes and then they called my name and walked me to my car. They let me do an initial inspection, but everything looked just fine except for a few cobwebs in the front passenger foot area. Finally they provide you with the Bill of Landing and instructions on how to register the car in Hawaii and also a free car wash voucher! Also not to mention everyone working at the Honolulu office was so nice and friendly! Will definitely probably use Matson again if I ever have to ship my car back to the mainland.
