I dont know about Grocery, This place is basically to serve all the drug addicts, drunks, and homeless, who roam the streets in this area of Chinatown. They have, torches, glass pipes, bowls, little ziploc baggies, a drug dealers paradise. Unless you have cash, they wont let you purchase anything, or you can use the ATM machine, and pay a $4.75 fee. And be prepared or watch your back as you leave, especially if you just bought cigarettes. They mooches will bombard you, from every direction. I highly dont recommend going to this store, unless it is an absolute emergency.

I was just assaulted by the owner John Kim. He said I stole a juice a week ago and wouldn't allow me in, I was just inside the store but felt sick and threw up right in front on my way back in he opened his hand✋️ and pushed me down as i was walking in the door, despite my age and size i have an injury leaving screws in my right knee from a recent moped accident so in certain angles of prsssure it buckles instantly which happened by his push againstme on his property, so when he offered to call police i encouraged it and but since he called even though i waited and tried to yell to the phone for and ambulance to come as well🚑 whoch never came and so I waited as the police came and I even waved them down the but the "investigating officer" kept reminding me that i am detained and therfore cannot make a report as i asked if i can write down the events to the assault against me thst happend as i did not steal anything so they where there for a juice that was stolen weeks ago but returned thus the only report to be made now was the assault that just occured my hands never went on the man and i was prevented from making my assault charge by threatening me with his possible cross charging saying to me multiple times after u begged and pleaded to the officers to make a police report but despite seeing the video and seeing im right they still threatened me with a felony and being booked today if I charge him because he's older just the cross charge alone caused me to be arrested so if i wanted to still have my plans today i should not charge and i asked how she could say such a thing after viewing the video so she went back in to get a better look as i was adament on the injustice thats occuring and on the radeio she finnaly asked the other officer to " come take a look at it..its kinda terrifying and if he wants to make his report online then..." the officer turned the volume down so I couldn't hear what she was telling him as it supported me and my view or the TRUTH but it was clear they were biased on the matter and wanted to help the old man not get into trouble for calling in an attenpted theft from weeks ago into an assult charge on his property store so by then i said "okay what ever ill go and not come back" but Iclearly started recording the conversation and asked their names and apologized to the store owner to wich he sais " you are a very good actor but please 🙏 dont come back" and i heard the fear of the truth being put through the justice system properly withiut his false cross assault charge which clearly never happened even the video would show me walking in the. running out to throw up on the curb. Walking back in but the ifficer recalled it as me bumping in but i was just making my attempt to see if i dropped anything before runnjng out since im suddenly being blocked by his ppen hand to my chest to wich he starts applying a pusshing effort making my knee buckle and then falling down. I get up and and say "you have the right to refuse service to anyone but not the right to assault them on your property" but i concede so I can get my i.d back which was being detained as i handed it without them asking for it like an overly conpliant dumbass trusting obviously racist or the many protected rights about my person, my age being in my 20s, race im one haole white, they where all Korean, or my sex, maybe my education i so proudly exuded by my posture and prose or where I'm from as I'm from waianae which comes with many stigmas but whatever their prejudice came from, agaisnt that caused them to obstruct justice so purposefully trying to assume judge jury and executioner telling me its just the law that ill be the felon in this case as personal biase they hand against they did nothing with it but held it agaisnt me, only allowing I have it back if i choose not to make a report. Or else I will be cuffed and sent as a felon now. Cuz they can and that's what they told John to do they didn't have to advise that at all he reported a thef

I am appalled that this place is still in business, even after the deaths of TWO INNOCENT MEN were connected to this store. Just google Isaac Mamea (died September 2017) and John Noland (died June 2018); there are dozens of articles on the Honolulu Star-Advertiser site alone. Owner John Kim and "employee" Sharonelle E. Beltran: you should be ashamed of yourselves for enabling drunken and violent behavior. I am also angry at the Honolulu Liquor Commission for not performing their sworn duty of denying license renewal. Do not buy from them, it's a bad business and bad neighbor!!

This store has a wide variety of goods a d the prices are reasonable for some items, a good place for quick stops for cigarettes and lighters, also has a ATM. They only take cash though.

Cheapest cigarettes in Honolulu, other than that save yourself a trip to another store like 7-11 would be a good idea.
