“After my discharge from the hospital I was prescribed eight weeks of daily IV antibiotics. I opted to administer this myself at home instead of staying at a skilled nursing facility or going to an infusion center every day. My doctor had locally-owned Pharmacare take care of everything. An RN from the company visited me in the hospital and patiently showed me how to do everything step-by-step. When I got home Pharmacare made weekly deliveries of all supplies. The person who took my weekly order on he phone made sure that they had my order correct and doublechecked to make sure that I did not need anything else. There is a nurse available 24/7 to call if you have any questions (I had to call them twice and both times received excellent service). Deliveries are made to my front door reliably and with a smile. Everyone that I encountered at Pharmacare is professional, well-trained, and knowledgeable. Our lives are in their hands and they take their responsibilities very seriously. I have heard through the grapevine that Pharmacare's main competitor is not locally-owned and does not provide the same high level of service.”

“I’ve had two experiences with CalMed recently - one was just an online order for in-store pickup and the other was for the rental of a Medela Symphony pump. The in-store pickup was very easy and quick, the person who helped me was very friendly and pleasant (I didn’t catch her name since it was just a quick interaction). For my pump rental, Emma was the best! My LC submitted the paperwork to CalMed for me to obtain a hospital pump due to my baby’s tongue tie but informed me that sometimes HMSA will take up to 2 weeks to approve the request. I didn’t want to wait 2 weeks and I knew that due to my insurance coverage, the pump still may not be covered, so I was willing to pay retail for the time being. I called CalMed and Emma, understanding my situation called HMSA to verify coverage and got back to me immediately. Turns out my insurance coverage was poor for breast pumps so she advised I go the retail route since would end up being cheaper and faster. She checked on my coverage with HMSA, processed all my paperwork and had the pump ready for pickup within less than 2 hours! When I went to pickup the pump, she was just as friendly and helpful as she had been over the phone. She even offered to bring it curbside for pickup and went over all the important things I needed to know for setting up and using the pump. Dealing with feeding issues is very frustrating for moms and I appreciate that she was so helpful and friendly! Thank you Emma for all of your help!”

“I ordered some plastic face shields from their site and they sent a free face mask also. In the process I got five emails to tell me my order was received, confirm I want email marketing, my order left their location, has been shipped, and lastly was delivered. The only drawback is that their face shields have a tiny little button to hold the plastic in place instead of a silicone buckle. I would order from them again to support a Hawaii business.”

“This is the second time that my mother in law received medical supplies from Stat Medical. The first time she received a supply of oxygen and today she received a wheelchair. Raleigh was the person who delivered the supplies. He is such a professional at what he does. He is kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. He was able to share in detail the features of the items as well as how to use them properly. He was even understanding of my mother in laws barking dog. “I fell at work last week and was wearing the stabilizer that Pali Momi gave me. It was so heavy. My Dr Chang uses Cade Medical and ordered a special rotor brace for my fractured patella. Garvin Tsuji the specialist came to my home to fit me for my new brace, since I can’t drive at this time. He was wonderful and explained how to use the stabilizer. He sized it for me. I was throughly impressed with His customer service. Great product and great Specialist who care about people.”
