It's an expensive highly convenient gas station. I dropped someone off at Kinkos on South St, ran and got some gas, and was back before they were done making their copies. I paid for the convenience but it sure beats possibly running out of gas trying to get somewhere less expensive.

The ladies here are always so sweet and kind. I was just in and a woman I haven't seen before was working. She was so nice and seemed to be having a great time with the other customers. When I get to the counter not a smile or a hello, doesn't ask for my loyalty card. I had to ask her if I could use my loyalty card for the purchase. She rolled her eyes and just coldly gave me my total. Hands me my receipt, no thank you. Maybe it's because I'm a female and she couldn't flirt with me like all the other customers.

Welcome! Sorry, the Chung's review will have to wait. Everyone knows how great they are all ready, and I really haven't got any new information about Chung's that other yelpers haven't all ready mentioned. I give those yelpers all the credit, good work guys! But what new information I do have, is on Hele, the one across Alapai Transit Center. New information that nobodys talking about. Because that's what I do, I read all the reviews, and I write something different, so that's what you get with me. Yeah, it's a low rating Hele, and in my heart of hearts, I feel this is a true 2-star business like the other yelpers have given it. And I have a theory on why this is. I've wasted too much of your time all ready, so let's begin... Let's start good first. Hele does have a reward's card which I absolutely love. Another thing that I like about this Hele is that for a gas station there's quite a bit of room to get in and out of compared to some gas stations like Aloha Gas in Kaneohe on the corner of Kamehameha and Kahuhipa Street. The food and drinks are just okay. Some of the best things to get imo are the 2 eggs for 1 dollar, coffee, and maybe the danish. The bad, now. I only have one, but it's a big one. One that cancels out all the good about this location. And if you're a worker who works at this Hele, I'm sorry, but the people need to know, so they don't have to worry about having their good day ruined just getting gas and some food. This location nets a lot of mentally ill, bad people. And they are ruthless and they are stink and they cause a lot of noise if you know what I mean. But that's not the bad! Well, it is some of it, but there's something even more disturbing. Because of this mentally ill, bad people traffic, I feel like the workers here have been emotionally scarred by them, AND they take this learned bad attitude behavior out on everybody else unless you have a HPD or hospital uniform on then they treat you good. I've even witness a Hele worker talk condescending to a The Bus employee. My final thoughts on this Hele are the inmates run the asylum through learned bad attitude behavior of Hele workers formed by dealing with sick, mentally ill bad criminal people on a daily basis. Please don't blame it on me, please don't blame it on your regular customers. We are neither mentally ill nor bad. We are normal people like you who gets up everyday and goes to work. Look, I respect you for working, and I am sure you, the Hele worker, are a nice person even before you got hired or else why wouldn't they hire you. But we're not all bad people. And we shop there to support you. We are good people. All right, thank you for reading the review. I appreciate your time. Have an awesome Sunday and be safe.

I went there to grab a soda. The cashier, Linda proceeded to argue with me after I threw out a sup of flat soda. She told me I needed to pay for the cup. I told her that was fine. She then snatched my ID out my hand after i asked her for a pack of cigarettes. I checked her for snatching my ID and she proceeded to deny me service. She is very unprofessional. She needs to be retrained.

I'm so pissed off right now! If I could use an explicit gesture as a rating, I would. We frequent this Hele gas station almost EVERY MORNING before I start work. Today I walked to Hele after my final IREM class, decided to wait outside for the wife before heading inside to grab a snack. Arrived at 356p. I was out there until 408p when the cashier "Jerilyn" came out and told me that HER MANGER said I couldn't stand there... Didn't ask my purpose for being there, just assumed I was loitering. Loitering by definition means being in one place with no purpose. I explained to "Jerilyn" that I was waiting for my wife and then we're going inside and make a purchase so she stated that they will give me 3 mins, I laughed at that so she changed it to 5 mins. Soon as "Jerilyn" returned to her counter, my wife pulls up. I had my wife park the car at the gas pump and made her aware of what just transpired, then waited in our vehicle while she made the purchase. I decided not to go inside the store before I do anything THEY will regret. Since she recognized my wife, "Jerilyn" started to scramble for excuses to tell her. This cashier "Jerilyn" is fortunate. Anyone who knows me will agree... I let her off easy.

This was always my go to station when it was Tesoro, so convenient and always open. Tonight I drove in to what is now Hele at 9pm and they were placing all the chains across the entrances. I asked why and was told they close at 10pm.

Since when a cashier cannot hold your credit card while you fill up with gas ? It was insisted I tell her HOW MUCH GAS I WAS GOING TO PUT IN ! When Filling Up, How am I suppose to know how much fuel it was going to take beforehand ? Perhaps some math genius with Ultra Knowledge of his/her car and its fuel requirements from any point between F and E ? Anyway the Cashier at this location gets a big fat F as in Fail for being totally UN-helpful an UN-friendly !

An excellent location and low prices keep me coming back to this gas station. Several automatic gas pumps are available. You can simply insert your credit or debit card and seconds later fill your tank. I have never been in the store here though. It looks fantastic from a distance. Standard snacks and convenience items are available.
