The service and the food are always top notch. It's a contemporary eatery so it's noisy. They pipe in a drum beat which keeps the tempo moving. I assume it is designed to keep people eating at a pace. You definitely won't fall asleep, the drumbeat never changes. Not sure it's that helpful but since it's not really music it's hard to like. I think it shaved off some of my stars. The staff is truly amiable and they obviously have an organized kitchen. You don't wait for anything. It's a good plate of food and it's worth it so we are regulars.

Been here a handful of times. Food is always good! Love the quality and taste of everything Ive had here. Drinks are just as yummy! Service is always friendly and attentive the moment you arrive.

The overall experience was not great but not really bad either. The food ( both my friend and I had the burger) was pretty tasty but the service left something to be desired. I ordered coffee which was tepid. I asked for no aioli on my burger and it came with aioli and the fries were cold. Our waitperson did not come back to check on us so I had to flag down someone else who took the burger back. Although our original waitperson passed by several times he never asked why I didn't have my meal although it had been served some time ago. I don't know if he ever realized that he failed to tell the food preparers to leave out the aioli or alternatively that the food preparers made the mistake. When it came back, everything was fine. The fries were warmer and the burger did not have aioli on it. I ordered it medium rare but both times it was medium. That didn't bother me, though, because the burger was good and was not dry. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant and the noise level was good. My friend and I had no trouble conversing. It's been a long time since I've dined at Ruscello. Several of my past visits had similar problems with service. I was hoping things had improved, but it seems not.

I first want to mention that our server, Tracy, was exceptional.  the signature chicken meatballs and penne was as good as ever. And the little gem Caesar also consistently excellent. All staff members were attentive, and friendly. It is always a pleasure to come to this venue bringing friends who haven't experienced it, and knowing that the experience will be a positive one.

The food and service is always outstanding. The noise level was pretty high but that could be due to our seating next to windows.

We ordered the mushroom pizza, ravioli, cilantro salad, brussels sprouts and burger. All were delicious. Excellent service!

The ahi fish special was over the top delicious. One of my favorite eateries when shopping at Ala Moana. Our server was fantastic. She checked on us regularly and so very friendly.

We had a very lovely waitress who was attentive and helpful, however her clothes smelt musty like wet towels. May want to remind the staff about the importance of hygiene when dealing with customers.

Food is always delicious at Ruscello and wonder why we don't dine there more often. We wanted to order everything off the menu but went with the spicy chicken Parmesan sandwich and steak cilantro lime salad. While my steak was a bit on the tougher side, it was still very tasty. My husband ordered the spicy chicken Parmesan sandwich and the baguette was nice and soft, easy to eat. The fries with the olive tapenade aioli was delicious. Topped it off with the plantation iced tea....mmm!! Highly recommend anytime you can make it!!
