Great customer service from Jacob. Friendly, transparent about pricing and part sourcing, and able to give me a discount on labor for doing a bunch of things at once. Plus he didn’t charge me extra for a diagnosis, as I had already paid another auto shop for that. Every other place was going to charge me for the extra inspection and did not offer any discounts on labor for getting multiple things done at once while the wheels are all off. This was an easy choice. Getting an appointment within a couple business days was easy, and even though i missed mine, they were able to fit me in the next day. You just drop off your car 7-9am and get it back before 5pm. Will definitely be back!

I've got a 99' 4runner. They made a same day appointment, changed the oil, topped off all fluids, and even tightened my battery terminal. Speedy service and helpful

Best place for auto repair in Kaimuki. Quick, efficient and down to earth employees. I’m an idiot when it comes to cars and they always take time to explain things to me when I ask questions.

These guys are awesome! Just got one of my tires plugged from them and was in & out in about 5 minutes! The price was was less than I thought it would be too. Overall great experience

Moved back to Hawaii 2 years ago and luckily never had any car issues....until the other day.Accessory drive belt on my car snapped on the freeway at 5am. I was able to get to a safe stop and get AAA to tow my car. Scrambling to find an open repair shop was quite an impossible task that early but Palolo Auto was open and answered the phone. Very grateful to Ross for being willing to receive my car and take a shot at the repair. Made it to work late and left the task in Palolo Auto's hands. Evreryone I dealt with on the phone was very courteous and professional. Car was ready the very next day. They even did tire rotation (since the car was up) and offered to do my safety check (without having made an appointment). Big props to Jared and the other guys working that day. Being short staffed and friendly is never easy so gotta show my appreciation the next time I go to see them.Living in Kaimuki, Palolo Auto is conveniently located off Waialae, service is awesome, staff is on top their game, they won me over. Big Mahalos!

Fast and efficient service. My alternator was replaced in 3 hours for $442. I'm happy with that. The 5 star rating is for mechanical work, not for warm and fuzzy service.I've been to the other place where there is friendly customer service but was price gouged and charged for things that were not needed. These guys may be short on social skills, but you can count on them to do the job right, fast and at a fair price and not try to sell you things that are not needed.

I went to another place to get tires, while changing them they told me my break pads were in bad shape. They told me I needed they changed in the next month. Totally believing them I came to Palolo auto service for a change. The are SO AMAZING! they looked at my car and told me my break pads were in top notch shape, needing no change. Thankfully for Palolo auto I didn't get scammed into new breaks when mine are in great condition. Forever my go to mechanic for their honesty & hard work!

I really like coming here to get my car serviced! The guys there are so friendly and courteous, and do the job quickly and efficiently. Hubby and I keep coming back for both our cars because the mechanics there are so great. Recommend!!!

Went in on 1/13/2023 for a safety check. Two male workers (one of them named James?) told me that they no longer do safety check. My family and I have been going to this place for years for safety check. Guess we gotta go elsewhere now. :(
