The son’s haircut is school picture ready. This is his first full cut using a buzzer. Prior to this we used scissors only. I appreciates the stylist’s patience as my son got used to the vibrations of the buzzer against his head. He enjoyed his lollipop as well

My child had a fantastic first haircut experience! The staff was friendly and patient, and my child loved the autonomy in choosing his own seat, what to watch, and the lollipop he wanted!

Got our kids first haircut. Got there at 10am, and was given a walk in appointment for both. They have trains to play with, shows to watch, and awesome cars and planes to sit in. Our kids received amazing first haircuts and they look forward to coming back. The staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their kid a cut!

I got my son's first haircut. We were travelling from Boston and had a religious ceremony for shaving our son's head. They were very responsive, patience and friendly. They accommodated all our requests and made our son's first cut even special.

Love the train track to keep my child busy while we waited for our turn. The fire truck chair was so cute and my child was excited to sit down for his hair cut. Kristina was so patient and did a wonderful job with cutting my child's hair.

Super friendly and welcoming! Big shoutout to Kristina! She did a great job with my son’s hair for his first haircut ever on Friday June 13th, 2025. I was so nervous at first for my son but she took the nerves away when she started cutting his hair. He felt very safe and comfortable towards her which made me feel better. Thank you so much again Kristina! We will be back again to see you!!

This is the 2nd time I've take my kiddo here, and we'll continue to take him! They took their time cutting his hair and made him look like a new little kid. They have different little barber seats and a lot of TVs to entertain your little one while they get cut. Love this place for my sone.

We have been coming here for my daughter’s haircuts for the past three years. I think it is one of, if not the best children’s salons on the island. We drive from Wahiawa about twice a year, and have never had a bad experience. The staff is great with children which can be very difficult as they tend to have a hard time sitting still. My daughter was really pleased with her last visit. Kristina Siazon did a great job and made sure her hair was even at the end of the visit.

The staff here are so friendly and so patient with my autistic son. I have been here several times with him now and have had almost all of them cut his hair and they have all done wonderfully. Place seems fairly clean. There’s a train table for the kids to play while waiting. Only downside is the abundance of toys available for sale- kinda wish they were less noticeable/accessible.
Stylist: Jhonelyn is the only one I know by name, but they are pretty much all great!

We got my daughter’s first hair cut with Jhonelyn. From the moment we entered the salon we were greeted and treated with kindness. The hostess up front was very friendly and that really helped to set the tone. Jhonelyn was amazing. She was so patient, kind and easy to talk to. She really listened to how I wanted my daughter’s hair cut and she nailed it perfectly. I was worried my daughter wouldn’t enjoy the experience or even let her hair get cut. But Jhonelyn made my daughter feel very comfortable which meant a lot. The “1st haircut” keepsake was also very cute and worth it. To me, customer service is everything especially when dealing with kids. Pigtails and Crewcuts did an amazing job at giving us a memorable first haircut experience. I will definitely be coming back and have already recommended y’all to my friends and family!

This review is solely for the customer service I experienced with the receptionist. My son is 5 years old with some unique needs. For one, he hates haircuts but I thought he would be ok going to this place. I went in and let the receptionist know that my son may cry a lot. She was very accommodating to my son's needs. She told me that there would be a wait and I said that was ok. I noticed they cleared the shop so that it would be clear of other children when my son was going to get his haircut. In the end, my son did not get his haircut. He fought, cried, and screamed loudly. I just wanted to compliment the young lady who helped us and tried to really accommodate my son.

Such a great place to have for our kids, and they even do parents' hair for those who don't have time to carve out just for themselves to have a salon day. It's a judgement free, safe and welcoming environment for kids. These stylists are not only great at hair, they are great with children! I've seen a few meltdowns here with kids who were overwhelmed, scared, or just ready for that midday nap and the stylists always handled them with patience and grace.

Much mahalo to Johnelyn for her attentive service, caring attitude for our son's first haircut at the salon. It was so quick, easy and effortless. She managed to cut a foxtail style haircut on our 1 year old within 20 minutes and I must say we were impressed with her. Definitely will be back for more.

Bad service I went in when they were busy they couldn't do a walk in. But the lady at the front desk wouldn't let us schedule either she said we could do online but not in store. We were already there it would have been quick she was just playing on her phone anyway
