Hours: The Pohulani Processing Center is a welfare and EBT office where individuals apply for or manage benefits such as food stamps. The experience requires significant patience, as walk-in visits involve a long and early wait. To be seen the same day, arriving by 6:45 AM is suggested. Applicants stand in line until around 8:45 AM when numbers and a half-sheet of paper for basic information are distributed. After a security guard collects the paper, there is more waiting in an upstairs room, with the total process often lasting several hours.
