Just about exclusively physicians practices in this building, parking a bit confusing because, you'll have to drive up the parking structure and find your way to the correct elevator to connect to another building where your doctor might be. First hour parking free and three dollars for each additional thereafter.

Convenient, wheel-chair accessibility to parking and ALL medical personnel assigned to POB #1. Personally, I highly recommend the services of Dr. Cory Miyamoto in POB #1, Room 508 for her highly efficient, professional, friendly Endoscopy and Colonoscopy staff and their respective services. They are the very BEST, in this author's opinion.

This review is not for the entire Queens POB 1 building, this is SPECIFICALLY for SUITE 300. Queens Comprehensive Weight Management services at 808-691-7546. I received a call from my doctors nurse saying that she sent in my referral yesterday and that I can call to schedule. I called today to schedule, let them know my referral was sent in a day ago and Rachel answered the phone. She said she would have to check first to make sure they really got a referral for me even tho that's what I said. She put me on hold for a few minutes, came back on the line and said yes they received the referral yesterday and that they need to review it and that it will take 2-3 weeks to do that. I asked her if there was any reason it would take 2-3 weeks to review a single sheet of paper, and she said "No, there is no reason. That's just what it is." I said ok, then she said have a great day but in a very loud, over exaggerated and sarcastic way. I work in the health field as well and that conversation, her tone of voice and her response to me didn't sit well with me so I called the office back to speak to the office manager who I was going to tell my experience to and also get clarification on the 2-3 week review time. I'm sure there has to be a good reason and wanted to know it. So I called back and spoke to a receptionist named "Walle". This receptionist was even more rude than Rachel. I asked to speak to the manager, she asked me for my first name and last name. I gave it to her. She then asked me if I was an established patient, which I told her no. She then forwarded me to the manager, which didn't answer. Wallet came back on the line and said her manager wasn't available but that she could take a message. I asked her for her managers voice mail, and she said she doesn't have one but she will get the message to her. I gave her my info again and asked what's the managers first name that would be calling me back. Walle said "I can't tell you that". I asked her why not, she said because it's a privacy issue. I told her the manager would be contacting me back and saying her name anyway so why can't she just tell me who is calling me back. She said why can't you just wait for that interaction instead of me telling you her name. I said I didn't understand why she was acting this way or treating me like this and that I will contact their human resource department which I am still doing besides this review. She said "go ahead". I told her I did not appreciate her attitude and cannot understand why she was acting the way she was, she had a bad attitude, was breathing hard as if she was annoyed, giving me sass and said "is there anything else I can help you with!" I said yes, the managers name that will be calling me. She put me on hold again and then a "Chanel" came on the line and said that she was the manager. I explained to her the conduct of her 2 receptionist Rachel and Walle. She began to explain to me the process of the referral. I told her I understood the process, but I wanted to talk to her about the conduct of her staff and to also clarify the 2-3 week period. She said thanks for letting her know about her staff and that the 2-3 week period is in case they need to obtain more information from the patients doctors and for the team to see if the patient meets the criteria. I told her thank you and that's it. I called my PCP back and they got me scheduled with another weight management office for this Friday and apologized that Queens weight management staff had treated me like that. They said they won't be referring there again. BEWARE if this office. That is definitely NOT the Queen Emma way and she would be embarrassed and disappointed to say the least about Rachel and Walle. Shame on Queens to employ people like that.

I didn't visit an office in POB 1. I parked in the POB 1 parking structure. During the day the garage is almost always very full. But its a good access point for the hospital.

Went for pre surgery consultation. Nurse was not helpful on how to prepare for surgery. Suggest they be trained better and not tell you to read the instruction.

The parking garage is nice and clean. 1 hour parking is free. 2 hour parking is $3.00.The POB 1 offices and elevators are showing their age. The services provided in those offices are obviously not affected by the age of the building.POB1 has a pharmacy and a cafeteria, where you can find and purchase all sorts of snacks.

This place is always slow. Being on time means waiting that much longer. I always am at least 15 minutes early as requested then kept waiting for an hour.
