I am dumbfounded I’ve been going to POB 3 for appointments for the past few months and have never seen anything more dirty (top of the parking garage). I know it’s probably a losing effort to keep it clean from all the pigeons and there feces on the ground railings and stairs not to mention when you come out you have fresh ones on your car depending where you park. But my concern is patients unaware walk in it touch it on the railing going up and down the stairs and then walk through and touch elevator buttons and door handles in the building along with the payment machine for parking. All the while paying the snack shop signing documents in all the offices along with the pharmacy I can’t imagine the extent of cross contamination in the building as a whole. Would it be so hard to power wash this area on Sundays every so often? Isn’t Queens the most prestigious and oldest healthcare facility in this state?

I took a lot of photos of the area to remember where I grew up. Although it was The Honolulu Medical Group. The original one use to be around the corner. Grew up with, in, on the Queen's Hospital grounds. Father worked on the 4th floor since forever. The cafeteria is still standing, the pillars that holds up this structure? Wow.. 2 plumerias trees are still there, use to have many? Thats where we picked flowers to make lies. History.. Sadly I didn't have a nice appointment in this building, bedside manners? No one should feel the way I felt!? I've been away from this area for a long time, looking forward to going home? I left unable to think clear, made to shame then to cry? I grew up with in this grounds, deleted the photos, I will not be going back. It took this long to say this,No one should be made to feel that way. Sad part to this? I heard the music of my first hula performance. Under the biggest tree ever, to the entry of the hospital, where the cafeteria was off to the left? And when I a candy strippers wore stripes.

Queens is a great hospital system that doesn't disappoint in care and services. I actually go to Queens mainly for doctor appointments, and my only complaint is the parking in POB lll. There isn't enough parking spaces! I was 20 mins late for my appointment from repeatedly driving from the bottom level to the top looking and waiting for a space to open up! Cars were parked in thru traffic lanes and couldn't or wouldn't move waiting for spaces!

As far as in-house pharmacies are concerned, the POB pharmacy staff is a cut above other pharmacy locations. Unlike drug store locations they are more apt to have to deal with people in need of medical prescriptions. One of the Queen's physical therapy clinics are located here, as well as an imaging clinic. While not located in the main hospital, this pharmacy is very pleasant with kind and patient staff. It seems many visitors are senior citizens who require more attention and I have seen first hand how good they can be. The parking here at POB 3 is pretty easy to maneuver but the stalls are limited compared to POB 1 or 2. ( most people would say POB 2 has the toughest parking, I agree. So if you need to fill a prescription or have questions about your medication, or need shots, give POB3 a call if you are near Queens hospital, they are good.

Google GPS took me to park in POB I and couldnt find my way to POB III, a staff member offered to walk me to the building.Great experience and the reason why i say Queens is the best.Location: Located conveniently off the freeway, exit Vineyard Blvd. Stay far left and U turn at the first light. First right and Look for signage is my best suggestion. GPS said to turn into POB I. Stay straight, and take a right on the 1st street. POB III building is located right side.Staff: Friendly & KindTemperature check and covid questions asked to recieve a sticker for entrance.Unlike the main queens hospital this building did not require a medical grade mask (altho i prepared and wore one anyways) for entry.Restroom:Located on the 2nd floor by key entrance only(Need to get from a staff member)Unfortunately no handicap assistance doors for restroomLobby Cafe:This location has a lobby Cafe with a wide variety of food and beverage to purchaseAt my Appointment:I had a few questions in regards to what i was signing and they were patient and able to get me the clarification i needed.I was helped by some amazing Staff here!

Lots of services under one roof. I just wish they had better parking for large & oversized vehicles.
