R V's Ocean Sports is a great local surf shop with unparalleled customer service. The owner is a wonderful, incredible teacher and motivator, known for being fair, honest, and kind. He is genuinely invested in helping everyone, from newcomers to veterans, get exactly what they need to get in the water. The shop offers easy and affordable rentals and has fair prices with a fast turnaround. It is a must-visit for anyone staying near the south shore or Waikiki, filled with surf treasure on its walls like original boards. The business treats locals and visitors with respect and candid honesty, and the surfing community loves it.

Roy took me and a few other people out for surf lessons and we had a fantastic time. He's a really incredible teacher and motivator. He loves surfing and the surfing community loves him. It all shows.

There is surf treasure on these walls! If you are staying in or near the south shore or Waikiki this is a must visit surf shop. Original Ben Aipa Stingers, Lance Carson longboards. I stopped in to grab a leash and stayed for a half hour to view the surf treasure and talk story with Roy.
