I wish I could give 5 stars because they were all so nice however, we just received our hhg and many furniture items were taken apart by them but they failed to keep the necessary hardware needed to put back together with the items. So now we’ve got furniture that can’t be put together because the hardware is gone. They even left some hardware behind on a windowsill. It’s a good thing I told my husband to make sure to pack them in a suitcase. A few items were also damaged. Also, I’m not sure what the method for packing was but some parts of my furniture were actually in completely separate boxes that you wouldn’t even think it would be. For example, I had a vanity in the master bedroom and found a piece of it in box for the garage items. I will admit, it may have been a bit chaotic with all my stuff but I don’t think that’s an excuse to get sloppy or careless. I will say at least none of the high value items got broken (although one of the items did get damaged but still usable).

PCS back to the mainland. Took them about two days to load about 5 thousand pounds. No damage to my home. They accidentally packed my wife's purse which was partially our fault, and they were super flexible and allowed me to come down to the warehouse and open up the crate so we could find her purse! They could have easily told me no so I definitely appreciate them for doing that and without charging a fee. Thank you Videl !

I've moved around a lot with my career, and Royal Hawaiian might be the best movers I've ever dealt with. When I'd left a box of stuff at my unit that was meant to go out, they didn't even complain about me bringing it to their warehouse to have it packed.Professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I wish I could use them on the mainland.

Looks like they removed my review. We moved from Oahu to Washington about three years ago. Our beautiful Christmas ornaments were stolen, and the claim office would not return our call. They have a lot of thieves among this company. I would never choose them to move my stuff again. BEWARE of this moving company. They have it out for military families. After three years, we are still devastated about our Christmas stuff being stolen.

Was greeted with a pineapple. Which was very nice with this being my first experience. Very professional movers when unpacking handling our household items. Answered questions and was exceptionally fast with the process.

This review was based on the small inter island move job my company did with this week. WOW! AMAZING SERVICEI have dealt with many moving companies in the past and usually the sales/office staff of course are great and provide good customer service. That tends to change once the work crew actually arrives to do the work. Not in this case!1) The follow up from this company is amazing! One of our items they took it upon themselves to measure before arriving to our office and informed us it would not fit in the elevator. Luckily we were able to re-route it to another office.2) The crew that arrived to delivery the file cabinet were SO professional! They were even in nice aloha shirts~ get out!!! Movers??? That is awesome!!It is very easy to just "go to work for a paycheck" and not really "care" about your job. We truly felt that this crew took pride in what they do and how they interact with their customers. It was evident they value their working relationship with Royal Hawaiian Movers and valued us as a customer. They went over and beyond just to deliver this one file cabinet. Thank you guys so much!!!

Ikaika and his team did both of our restaurant moves and they were awesome! They went in and got out things packed up and ready to take to our destination points without a hitch. He's a great leader and provided drinks for his team and myself without even asking! Just a solid human being. Would definitely call them again in the future.

RHM was selected to handle my goods moving into our new Oahu Home. Having moved from Cali, to Boston, to Japan, to Hawai'i, this has been my best movers experience thus far! Antero, Primo, and Harry worked hard and were careful with our things, everything was delivered in the same condition as when it was packed. I really appreciate it, thank you RHM!

Royal Hawaiian Movers made our move to Hawaii as smooth as we had hoped. They were great at keeping me informed throughout the process. The crew (Ivan, Ronson, and Jerry) were professional, courteous and exercised extreme care with our belongings. There were no nicks or scratches anywhere in our home after they left and they took all of the leftover moving debris with them. Anyone considering a move to Hawaii would do well to hire Royal Hawaiian Movers.

BJ & Rob were the team delivering several crates of our HHG. They were great professionals, unpacking all our items with such care & assembling our special, one-of-a-kind heavy wood dining table among other things. They were fast, efficient and thorough, even helping us re-check the inventory when we couldn't find a missing end table that was mislabeled. (of course we found it quickly & they assembled it). They also gathered & took all the boxes & packing materials at the end.I also want to commend the admin team with the scheduling and communicating our delivery details and being flexible to shift our delivery time when we couldn't be there at the original time. Thank you all at Royal Hawaiian Movers for the warm welcome & easing our transition. Also, Mahalo for the delicious welcome!!!

Gone is my love affair with Royal Hawaiian - where I previously sung their praises from the rafters, I just receive my shipment in Virginia and realized exactly how poorly they performed. When we left Hawaii, Royal Hawaiian had scheduled 4 days to perform our pack and load of ~10,000 pounds of HHG. On the evening of Day 1 they stated they were going to get us packed and loaded the next day (Day 2 of 4). We didn't request this and asked them not to rush - we didn't want our belongings damaged. They assured us it wasn't an issue and would be done very easily. At 5 pm on Day 2 they still had significant work to do and surged an additional 3 people to complete the job - which at 9 pm they finally accomplished. The next day we found several oil spots on our driveway left by their moving truck - although they promised to correct this issue, they never did and left us in a lurch with our landlord. Then our household goods arrived today - where do I begin. How about they packed my Waterpik in the same box with the toilet bowl cleaner and toilet plunger - no paper separating anything, just the thing I clean my teeth with laying with the thing I clean poop with. Boxes were overpacked, light boxes placed on the bottom of the stack and crushed, boxes ripped by the poor crate construction, furniture not wrapped and subsequently scratch beyond repair. Let's not forget - that picture of the hand weights are weights just rolling around in the bottom of the crate - they labeled these as being in a box, but no - just rolling around in the crate. Dishonesty abounds. And now I have to clean up the filth they made on my clean belongings. This is just the first 6 crates - we've got 6 more arriving tomorrow so I'll provide an update on how they performed in round 2 - I'm not holding out any high hopes for improved performance. We specifically requested Royal Hawaiian - they were supposed to be the best on the island but I can not and will not endorse Royal Hawaiian - if you see my name attached to a favorable review it was prior to this debacle.

Had a medium sized home improvement project that resulted in a carport's fill of demo'd building material. The contractors were unable to haul away for various reasons. My wife's business had contracted these guys to do some work and said they were pretty good. Why not check 'em out? I called them and a couple of other companies to get estimates before having them come out and feel obligated. One company would never estimate without doing a site visit; one company gave us an okay estimate; Royal Hawaiian came in $7 under the other guys and said they could come out in 3 days. They came; they saw; they conquered. An hour and a half later, the three workers got it all in their truck and had swept the carport clean. (my car could finally come home). They were reasonably priced; came within days and on time; were friendly and worked hard. I'd hire these guys again in an instant.
