If you ever bought shoes at the Running Room, you will never go any place else. The staff is incredibly knowledgable about running shoes. They have all run marathons. The owner/manager understands how people move their feet and what the movement means for shoes. I bought my first pair of shoes from him two years ago. I learned I was wearing the wrong size and wrong kind of shoe. I loved those shoes so much that I returned to buy another pair today. They take a lot of time with each customer and learn what the person needs. They also educated the customer. The prices are reasonable for the level of service. I also picked up some workout clothes that were on sale. They carry a lot of running gear. They have a small parking lot next to the building. They are a local small business. You just can't get this kind of service anyplace else.

Great customer service and awesome selection of on sale running shoes! The guy who helped me was super knowledgeable about all the shoes in the store and offered some good recommendations. If I had known what specific brand of Brooks I had run in before he could have helped me even more specifically I think.

With online shopping making things all too convenient it's been awhile since I have gone shoe shopping in person. But after dealing with foot pain issues for the last year a visit to a specialty store was needed and I was reminded about the running room. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star review was due to the limited colors in all sizes but otherwise I was happy to walk out with a new pair of on cloudmonster shoes. Love that the customer service is personable and knowledgeable. Very eager to help. Much easier parking and hassle than the mall.

Been here several times and the service here is hit or miss. It seems like the main guy who is always working has a family and they are always hanging out in the shop. Sometimes his wife will come out when he calls her to come out from the back, and his son even helped me once. The main guy gives good customer service, but his family members...not so much. I was going to buy a garmin watch, and saw the dad give his teenage son the keys to the case to help me and he walked away. Now if the kid has some semblance of customer service skills, I would have maybe bought it, but he just stood there waiting for me to make a decision and when I asked about a certain color he just told me to get it from the Garmin website. I mean I guess what do you expect from a teenager. I didn't want to make a purchase for hundreds of dollars at this store to support mediocre customer service, so I ended up walking out. Probably won't return here. In the end I am going to buy my Garmin from Runners Route instead. At least they are locally owned, while the Running Room is a chain based in Canada. And they always have great customer service and try to get you to come back. McCully Bike is great for gels as well, plus they carry Maurten.

I visited the Running Room earlier this week and I can't express how grateful I am to Gaston who helped me find a pair of shoes. My feet have been getting very sore after several hours of being on my feet and Gaston was so knowledgeable and patient. I was there for a couple of hours and he brought out about 10 pairs of shoes and through a process of elimination helped find the most comfortable and supportive shoe for me. He also helped me understand the proper fitting of a shoe and I came to realize that I was wearing too small a size and was wearing worn shoes that had lost its support. The education and help that I received from Gaston was a game changer and has had a huge impact on my quality of life! Gaston, I hope you read this because I now walk around pain free and felt compelled to write this review. I got lucky when you helped me that day! Thank you so much!!!

Excellent staff ready to answer questions and help you find the perfect athletic shoe for your running needs. The owner is kind and patient, and his staff reflects this example. Saving up to get some shoes for hiking these mountains! If you're looking for running gear, go check these guys out. Locally owned businesses are the way to go!

Great customer service!!! Akamai with trying out every kine shoe you can imagine in your size. I was wearing the wrong size the whole time my left side toe getting buss up from going up and down hills. My toe never healing because wrong size for how many years!!! Learning lesson leave it to the professionals to take care of your feet and body. Arigato for everything going try these shoes out for the first time.

They don't have shoes for men over bigger than 10-12.
