Update. No update, Toyota doesn't want to reply at all, has replied to another review two weeks ago but not to this one......I wonder why? Basically proving my point for me Toyota, you guys are still a joke.Horrible communications, Horrible customer service, Tried ripping me off for 600 bucks for a part i didn't need??? Alapai said he would call me back but left early for the day, The new guy Richard ended up calling me, after i left a complaint and voiced how upset i was with the service, he didn't know what was going on and only made things worse. There was a point during the call where i said something to the fact of "Probably best if you didn't call at all" which he agreed too.Took 3 days to figure out what was causing my check engine light and it was a guess at best. When i picked up my car Alapai was still out and i had to get the car myself, guess no one wanted to see me and apologize to my face about all the issues i was having. Pretty sure when they reply to this review they'll give me some fake apology with a promise of doing better? What a Joke, not bringing my car back here again.

We purchased our 2001 camry brand new, we are it's only owner. The car has been garage kept and meticulously maintained. The milage is very low and the interior is perfect. We took it in for an oil change and safety check. After the car had been there for 4 hours we received a text saying the car didn't pass the safety check. We called to find out why. We were told that the cv boots were badly deteriated, the half shaft axle needed to be replaced and that the car leaks oil. It'll take three weeks to get parts and cost $3000+. Then they sent pictures showing cv boots that were totally deteriated but in the background I could see anodized aftermarket aluminum parts which our car does not have. In another picture we could see that the car pictured was a different color than ours. Fake pictures. We asked what oil is leaking and they sent us a picture of a puddle of clean motor oil on the floor. Funny how there's no oil on the floor in our garage where the car has been parking for the last 23 years. We refused the work and after bringing the car home I inspected the cv boots myself and found only one had a small tear. How sad that Toyota Servco would sacrifice their reputation and integrity and attempt to squeeze every dollar out of customers with bogus claims. One last thing...they wanted to charge us $165 to diagnose where their puddle of oil came from.

Very professional staff. Alapai explained all my service benefits and how to use them to keep my vehicle prime. Some renovation was going on, but the waiting room was big, with complimentary coffee and vending machines in the room.

The waiting area could be improved by making it larger to accommodate more customers. However, the service provided is satisfactory and the mechanic is helpful.

I've owned Toyotas before. I like the vehicles. What I don't like is the service I get from their service centers. To date, I have never had a good experience with them and that's over the span of over 20 years. It's always the same old story. "There's no way to prove it was a manufacturing defect." My current vehicle is a 2020 Toyota Highlander. I bought it and the extended warranty towards the end of 2020. I soon moved to a new job that is just a few minutes away from home. It is currently towards the end of 2023 and I only have a little over 16k miles on it. I take good care of my vehicle as it's basically my baby. Many many people have commented to me that I even drive like a little old lady. No offense to little old ladies out there. I took my Highlander in for servicing as it was just about time for an oil change and it needed a safety check anyways. I figured, I'd combo them. The lady that scheduled me suggested I get the 20k service as I haven't taken it in for a little bit because it didn't really need anything. Ok. Not 20k yet and at the rate I'm going, it won't hit it within at least 2 years. It's my baby though so let's splurge and get it done. Right. The rear USB ports have these plastic covers on them that are apparently very flimsy. They broke off and I noticed it the last time I had cleaned the inside of my vehicle. Also, my driver seat frame, which is also made of plastic, had a large crack in it. I figured it was still very much under warranty, I'd see if they could fix it. Upon checking in, the service person told me that it's not covered as there's no way for me to prove it was a manufacturing defect. To fix those though, they'd need to order parts from the mainland and I'd have to pay about $6oo!!! I politely informed him that my behind is not over 200lbs so how would the seat frame have broken if not from poor design/build? I told him that I could see if I was like 350lbs and had been bouncing around on it repeatedly, but such was definitely NOT the case. I even pointed out that I thought I had bought a mid-sized SUV, not a glass slipper. He apologized, but kept on insisting that it wasn't covered. What I want to know is, what's the point of even having a warranty if I have to prove that it wasn't my fault every single time? If it breaks down on the road and I take it in, I'll basically have to pay to get it fixed even if it's under warranty because "there's no way to prove that it's a manufacturing defect". So why even sell vehicles with warranties or even extended warranties? I could understand if I took it off-roading or I threw epic parties in it, but such is obviously NOT the case for me. It looks in awesome shape, and is obviously very well taken cared of. So why do I have to prove that my behind isn't 350lbs and that I wasn't bouncing around like some kind of crazed monkey in it? We pay big money for our vehicles and we pay big money for servicing that could be gotten waay cheaper basically anywhere else because it's "Certified Toyota Service". Yet we have to prove that it's not our fault every single time anything goes wrong with our vehicles? How does that make any sort of sense? So if I get an oil change there and my vehicle gets an oil leak the very next week because the filter isn't put on well, it's my fault because there's no way for me to prove that it wasn't? I mean, for all they know, I could have been off-roading or drag racing with my pristine 2020 Toyota Highlander right? There's no way for me to prove that they had messed up. If I could give zero or even negative stars, I would, but Yelp only goes as low as 1 star. All I can do is state the facts and tell folks to avoid Servco if they can help it as all you'll be doing is paying big money for parts and service that's not guaranteed in any way, shape, or form. Unless you have a lawyer, forensic mechanic, and verified eye wi

I was brought here to this location since the mapunapuna service center told me they have my extra key and they can program it there. I was advised that they gave the jey and not the original service center I go too. But oh well. The service was at but slow but nice the advisor came and in put all my information he told me we don't have rhe key for you. I said WHAT. The mapunapuna service center said to come here so the advisor said ok let me check came back and yes they had ot. Even though I had a appointment at 800am he told me I'll see if he can do it in the hour since we're waiting for the car. Ok the service was no charge. Yay. Now to get our car was a little long of a wait. It was like buried in between cars and in like center row I guess. No seats outside to wait so have to stand up. HUMMM. Not like the other service center. But oh well it's done and over

Yippy, hoorah cheehoo.Yesterday, my wife and I took her car into the service department to get a fob key. The car was purchased in January of this year. When she purchased the car ,we were told that it came with a single key. The second key was on back order due to a lack of computer chips. Our experience at this location is mixed. First, it was a 35-minute wait to get checked in. Then, during the check-in process, we were told that they didn't order the key. After my wife told the service advisor that we did get the notice to make an appointment. And that she did. He went back to the parts department to check again. In the end, we did get the new fob. The programming took an hour and a half. rook about an hour and a half to get it done. I prefer the Mioanalua service center.

I purchased a Toyota Tacoma from this dealership during the pandemic. They were very accommodating over the phone using their website to checkout the vehicles . I found one that I liked , a family member from Oahu took it for a test drive since I was living in Maui . Made all the negotiations over the phone with no hassle , it was quick , effortless . Made a booking with Young Bros, 3 days later got on a plane & took the vehicle to Young Bros for shipment back to Maui . It was that quick! These guys are Awesome! Very trustworthy & honest ! I highly recommend buying from them , I know I will be back again.

I called to book toyota Honolulu first and they said the wait tine is long, we’ll book you at the other one (this location) and you don’t need to wait more then 30 min. I came at 8:40 which was my appointment time, they checked me in at 9 and said they need 2 hours for oil change. When I said that the receptionist booked me here specifically because she said it will jot take more then 30 min, they said, sorry, we’re busy. I have a toddler, single mom, and my day is impossible to organize! This is just not professional at all!

Gotta take care of the car. Clean waiting room and there's a Hui car share right there too. The service reps are friendly and knowledgeable. I like that they make recommendations and let me decide if I want to take care of it myself.

Everything from emails, texts, and phone tells you to come in at a set time for an appointment. My experience: Arrive and drop off vehicle at 1005am. I return at 1:40pm and see my car parked, optimistic that work was complete based on a Toyota recall...not a personally induced situation. I ask the service department, whom calls the service consultant that tell me the car has not been touched yet. Calm and collective I have to explain what it expectation management and to avoid misleading with a "Appointment" time to only not have an efficient system in place but a first come, first serve type setup. Now the manager is going to get my car in next for a labor job that is about 2-3 hours. So my whole day is spent waiting based on a ineffective and inefficient system.Major customer service failure. My next complaint is to the corporate office, but I will hold to see where this all end being that they close at 6pm, its Saturday, and it 1:55pm. Hmmm.

Overall, I had a great experience here.Had some issues with the brake system. Originally, they gave me a pretty large price tag but then it turned out it was covered under a warranty or recall. Got a loaner car for a day. Great service, friendly staff, will be back again!
