Tucked in a corner by a brewery/restaurant with tinted windows gives a more ominous look than a welcoming one, but the interior is actually nice. Few tables, mostly young kids studying or on their laptops, with a huge selection of glassware and lots of accessories for you tobacco products &/or incense. The espresso was fine, nothing special. I’ll have to try the kava one of these days. Lots of people ordering food. The place is cleaner than expected, but the coffee is what it is.

Aloha! Went into Smokey’s yesterday after doing research on kava, and after seeing some of their instagram posts. Very clean and organized space. Retail is separated from the food x beverage area.Met the owner who took a half hour to explain the various kava, but also talked about how it can be beneficial to my health.I ordered a 20oz Kava which I enjoyed in store. Came home and felt relaxed and calm. Very chill experience. Would definitely recommend the cafe and I’ll be back next week! Mahalo! ??

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming! The customer service was that of a 5star restaurant and the food and was coffee was phenomenal! I appreciate the WiFi and comfortable seating as I am a college student needing every moment to get in some extra study time. Consider me a regular!

Conveniently located and reasonably priced. I’ll go out of the way for their coffee and Açai bowl. Thanks for being available Smokey’s . Proud to go to family owned businesses.

Been going here for years! I make sure to stop by every time I’m back home. The food and atmosphere is great. The hemp n honey iced coffee, acai bowl, avo toast and turkey pesto sandwich are my go-tos.

This places management has gone downhill. Ive been coming here since 2016 and have seen many managers come and go. I actually used to stop by here every morning for a sandwich and coffee but I stopped because Jennifer would never be open at 7 and if she was she would tell me it would be a 30-45 minute wait because she had to close the night before and she had to get set up…she’s always going through something and she seems mentally unstable. She’ll sit there and talk to you about her problems as if you care. She’s a lot older than the other people there so I think she’s going through menopause or something. I started to avoid her altogether when I knew she was there, I would just go somewhere else. Then while she’s not working comes in and makes up this whole story about why I have to move my car out of the handicap stall because people “called” her about me parking there. I was under the impression that this wasn’t a handicap stall because the owner of Smokey’s parks there all the time. She told me he has a handicap sticker…then I asked her if he was handicap…crickets. I don’t recall a sticker but apparently she’s in charge of the places parking lot and should report him immediately. I was about to leave but decided to stay a lot longer to show her what power she really has. She came back a second time and begged me to move it and I said I was good. You’re a manager of a coffee shop and that’s it. Comments on what I drive confirm what it really is. Some people want your attention and if you don’t want to give It to them they get tight. I’d recommend she become more focused on managing the coffee shop to generate sales, instead of losing them. I’ll continue to park wherever and whenever I want.

I’m from St. Louis, Missouri, USA, so there are no kava bars in my city aside St. Charles which I avoid like the plague! They were playing music by Joy Division and the Smiths, and I was fortunate to meet a regular by randomly singing to the Smith’s.I enjoyed my first time there, that I bought kava to take with me to my hostel. I came back the 2nd time for kratom and then the day after for a kava to go and some kava to take home for my flight tomorrow.I love this place and appreciate Hawaii and the Polynesian historic significance with Kava ceremonies! Plus, I haven’t drank alcohol in almost five years, so this is a nice place for those who want to enjoy a buzz without a hang over or black out!

I go here frequently and the staff is always so kind and helpful, but I wanted to leave a review for Jennifer for her amazing service! Very knowledgable and friendly, I came in right before close and she answered all my questions and was happy to help.

Really cool coffee shop and smoke shop. Stopped in with some friends. The coffee, chai, and açai were all delicious. I love that they use reusable mugs for dining in. Will be back next time I'm in the neighborhood!

It shouldn’t take over 20 minutes for one drink when not busy.
