Due to road reconstruction foot traffic is a little slow. It's a great place to grab a simple bite to eat. Worker was really friendly and offered great customer service. If you're in the area and you want a bite to eat or just to kill time they and other shops would appreciate your business.Vegetarian options: Subway creates sandwiches to your liking.Parking: Parking is available but the road could use a little bit more work. Pot holes, stalls could use a repaint makeover.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp that leads directly to the shop. Eating area is big enough to sit and enjoy your meal.

The food was delicious, but the lady who was serving me was giving me attitude. When I was still deciding, she kept asking me what I wanted, so I felt rushed. I also asked a question about one of the sandwiches, and she answered me as if I should've known the answer. I also asked for a certain type of meat, and she kept trying to give me another meat instead of saying they didn't have what I asked for. When she told me one of the meats was another type of meat, she proceeded to speak to me as if I was d**** So, I made it clear that I was irritated already. I think this lady was the owner or manager. It was until it got to paying that she was being nice. The local aunty that was working there was really nice and welcoming. I'm only giving two stars because the other lady was nice.

I never knew there was a Subway until I saw this place on the local news. The reason this Subway was on the news is because of all the rail construction on Dillingham and how businesses are struggling due to all the "No turn" signs on Dillingham.So we decided to check out this Subway to support them! I'm happy we did because it's one of the better Subway establishments in Honolulu!!They make my sandwich perfect every time! Just the way I request it! Parking is right there! No hassle with parking like some places!Come help support this Subway! You won't be disappointed!!Mahalo Subway Kokea Street!

This is the first time I have been to this location. Must say I'm very impressed as compared to other locations. My sandwiches very neatly made and the all the contents was packed in the sandwich. Might have thought I didn't get my full serving of ingredients, but upon unwrapping, it was all there. Same portions as all locations. Yes to consistently. It was great to eat my sandwich without the veggies popping out all over.

What a great experience at this Subway! They were efficient and helpful. I had a deal that was online only, so I told them I would place the order online and then they made it for us. Very clean and friendly location. My coworker had the Mexicali and I had the "Boss" which has fresh mozzarella, pepperoni and meatballs. It was very good with the pickled jalapenos and onions that I added in addition to lettuce, green peppers, spinach, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese (no black olives since Taylor HATES them and I am sharing with him). If you get the app, sometimes you get deals like BOGO 50% off. We saved over $7 on 2 footlongs since these are the premium ones so they were $14.25 each. Usually I go for the cheapest ones that are less than $10 each, but my coworker was getting one for $14.25 so the best deal was so match that price and the Boss matched it! I also heard from a former Subway owner that this sandwich is good since it has the pepperoni and fresh mozz and we LOVE fresh mozz! Not sure if it's worth the extra money, but glad I saved some to try it!

Got the classic cold cut combo $9.25 ,one of the lower priced options. Good sandwich but little expensive for sandwich.

This subway catered our school event and even delivered. Outstanding. They offered multiple options and were friendly and professional. The store itself is super clean and i was confident they made their customers safety a priority.

Judging from all the reviews of this location it seems that it's a hit-or-miss and today, unfortunately was a day that was a miss. It was more than a miss; it was WAY OFF THE MARK. Co-workers wanted to have Subway sandwiches for lunch. We have a half hour lunch break, so we called in the order prior to picking it up. We all had our favorite combination of ingredients so we each wrote it down, and the person who volunteered to pick them up called the order in. I was right besides her as she made the order and I could hear her correcting the person taking the order quite often. Order was to be ready in ten minutes, and it was picked up accordingly. The order was for two foot longs and three six inches. The bag contained one foot long and four six inch subs, which raised a red flag. Everybody checked their sandwiches and of the five orders, none...ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THEM WERE RIGHT. Jalapeño peppers where there shouldn't be, a sandwich missing cheese, one that should have been toasted but wasn't and one that shouldn't have was, a six inch that should have been a foot long... Well, as if this wasn't bad enough, the call to the shop to report the errors was absolutely EPIC. We're trying to explain what was wrong and the guy who took the order is talking over us, arguing that it's not what was said, when we have the list of everybody's requests of ingredients right in front of us. AND HE IS RELENTLESS! Just arguing the whole time! His best offer was for us to return to the shop so that he can insert slices of cheese into the sandwich...."No, because our lunch break is short. We don't have the time." To which his suggestion was to "Come back tomorrow, and I'll give you the cheese." We've had enough of this guy so we request to speak to the manager and we get the total run-around. At first we thought he didn't want to give the phone to the manager, but it became obvious by the long, awkward pauses that THE MANAGER IS REFUSING TO TALK TO US. We FINALLY succeeded in getting this person on, and she immediately goes on the offensive, throwing an attitude towards us, asking "...what's wrong with the sandwiches?" When we explained, her attitude was that of, "So what do you want me to do?" We were stunned that the person we're speaking to was the franchise owner who's responsible for the operation of this location. Her resolution to the matter was: "You know what? I give you your money back." That was NOT what we was hoping for. A simple apology and acknowledgement to the error would have sufficed. Maybe an offer of a discount on the next visit would have smoothed out and diffused the situation. Instead, "I give your money back" indicates she doesn't want our business anymore. Well... We're not going to a shop that we're not welcome at. It's a little further away, but there's another Subway shop near work. They'll be getting our business from us from this day on.
