The worst hair cut I ever had. Wanted shampoo cut and style cud not doso had to hv a dry cut awful. had hair all over my face, not warm towelor even little face brush, no mirror to see back never mind it was awful.$28 + $5 tip and tax shameful

Great place to get your hair cut, they have construction going on , but they are open. Really professional staff, good price, understand what you want. Great atmosphere.

A place to get cheap, fast, and fairly consistent haircuts as long as you keep it simple. The app is pretty bad though, sometimes it will simply be down and you can’t book an appointment, or you can book an appointment but it doesn’t go through to the salon.

We left the salon at 1250pm and quickly noticed outside of the salon that my son has muitlple cuts with fresh blood on his neck and behind both ears after a haircut. I have pictures as proof and planned to call the salon to talk to the hairstylist to explain what she did to my son to avoid causing a scene at the salon as there's other customers present and know she will probably deny it. Upon arriving home 1:10pm mins later, I instructed my son to shower to clean and apply antibacterial ointment as I don't know how sterile is the equipment. At 1:11pm, I called the salon and spoke Mi Jung Murashige who was the hairdresser who cut my sons hair as she answered my phone call. I explained that my son just had a haircut from her just recently today and there's cuts on my sons neck with fresh blood. She said "I want to see." I said we are not in the location. She said "You know kids skin is very fragile and easily gets cut" while sounding annoyed. She said "you know what I'm busy and can't talk right now". I told her if she will at least apologize because I don't want anyone else's children to experience the same situation, that my husband said salons are suppose to cover the neck before a haircut with a cloth (she didn't cover it), and my son has gotten his hair cut millions of times and has never had his skin cut open. She sighed and said "I already apologized in the beginning and said Im sorry and can't talk right now" as she sounded defensive and annoyed. She then hung up the phone. I didn't appreciate her poor attitude, defensiveness, poor customer service, and didn't sound sincere on how she handled the situation. A good stylist will never nick a clients skin especially multiple times. I wasn't impressed by her haircut anyway but gave a $4 tip, other hair stylist at the Manoa location has cut my sons hair with a better cut with no nicks and no skin bleed.

Booked online where it appeared there were several hairstylists available. When I arrived, there was only 1 person and she was surprised why 3 people were booked at 6pm, at the same time. I had a regular men's haircut. She decided to use a #2 clipper without asking or validating my opinion or preference. After going through the sides and back using just the clipper, she answered the phone and spent 5 minutes talking. When she returned to do my hair, she went through lining up the edges. However, she never bothered to double check the totality of the haircut--to ensure nothing else needed an extra trim, or whether both sides and back are evened out. She let me off the chair telling me that the haircut was done. She spent approximately 5 minutes total to cut my hair when I can clearly see that one sideburn is higher than the other. Also, she didn't show how the back of my head looked like. For the price I paid and the service being charged, my trip here is not well worth the time and money.Service: Haircut

I'm on a tight budget so look for low cost hair cuts but it's not worth it.I've gone to this place for a while now, sometimes I get someone better if it's someone who speaks English, if not the Asian lady cuts my hair how shewants it not what I asked for...she's done that more than once. Why don'tshe listen to her clients? She always does exactly how she wants to cut it! Aren't they supposed to listen to their clients' wishes?

I made an appointment about 2 weeks ago and I got there a few minutes early.I had to wait because someone was getting a hair cut so my appointment started about 10 minutes late which honestly did not upset me at all. The problem came the next week when I made an appointment and showed up just 7 minutes late just to be told NO. That someone was already getting a hair cut and I couldn't get a haircut. I know that doesn't sound bad but my job requires me to have a haircut every single week. It was pretty frustrating. It was so nonchalant and she almost seemed annoyed and unapologetic. Hate to see it man...

Don't go here. They are disorganized. One lady (Asian accent) behind the counter could care less about the overall business. She only cares about whatever clients she scheduled. Someone walked in while I was there and she says, I'm leaving at 5, maybe the other person can help you. Meanwhile the other person (Evalina) is scrambling around looking stressed out. For clarity... they scheduled me for a 430 appt with Evalina. I overheard the phone convo at 9am. Evalina was asked if she could take the appt at 5. She said 430 would work. Then she tells me the other person scheduled the appt without her knowing but she can do it if I'm willing to wait and it will take 2 hours. I just waited 20 mins plus the time of the conversation. 2 more hours? Then trust a stressed out, overbooked stylist to work on my hair? No, thank you. I don't need the stressed out energy, disorganization, blaming others for over scheduling, etc. I wasted my day believing I had an appt cause of these two people . I could have used my holiday to find another place. To top it all off she tells me, Am I sure I want to buy the oil Mitchell hydro cream whip for my hair because if someone getting a service done I get 20% off. Lady should have given me the 20% off for being inconvenienced.
