Four years ago we stayed here when we came to the island because we heard they were dog friendly. Not many hotels are open to 100 lb. German Shepherds😆 so we jumped at the opportunity. We stayed for three weeks and by the end of our stay we felt like family! Today we just checked out of a two day staycation and I can say it feels just the same. I can’t say enough about the warm and friendly staff. Always greeting us with a smile, always accommodating and helpful! Each and every staff member! Also love coming back every evening to live music. Love the vibes with the open layout of the restaurant and the pool. Our kids love seeing Jack the resident pup. They are not just dog friendly, they LOVE dogs which I find to be so endearing. Stay here you won’t regret it.

Would recommend! Perfect little getaway hotel! Great location on Waikiki (beach, restaurants, shopping all in walking distance), super friendly staff, nice & clean rooms, great restaurant (ahi tuna was 👌🏼), good value for money, they also do regular events around the pool and have live music every night.

We recently moved to the island because of the military and we stayed at the surfjack. Our stay was great and everything was really clean and taken care of. The staff was also always super helpful and cordial. We traveled with our dog and had no issues. I definitely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Oahu.

Great little boutique hotel in the centre of Waikiki. It’s our second time here and was just as good as the first and is fairly priced

Solid 3 star hotel. Stayed here for 5 nights the week before Christmas. Hotel wasn't too busy. The location is great as you can walk everywhere in Waikiki.
The 20 bus from the airport also stops right outside the hotel by half a block.
The restaurant was pretty solid. I got the pasta dish one of my nights to have a quieter evening. It also rained that night...so perfect night to stay inside.

The service is great. They're pretty attentive and accommodating. The lobby is a really nice place to hang out and they have live music every night.
So here's the experience. Upon checking in, we were assigned a room that was already occupied. Can't imagine the fear of the couple that was inside the room when I tried to open the door after a successful card scan.
The front desk quickly got us a suite room. The room is super outdated and smelled weird, it just came off really unhygienic. Water would somehow spill out of the shower next to the toilet always leaving a puddle. We came across a roach in the hallway one evening. On our last day, we found a small lizard in the room that slithered into the crack of the wall.
The location and folks are great but the rooms need a huge rehaul.

We had an amazing stay at the Surfjack Hotel! The room we initially booked was not available, but they upgraded us which was truly appreciated! The staff is super friendly and the location was perfect!

Good location to visit Waikiki! It is 10-15' walk from the beach. Good idea to leave the client with bath towels, and to be able to refill a water bottle for free. The parking will be the cheapest you can find, although it is not in the hotel itself, but it is close by about a 10' walk.

Loved our overnight stay at the surfjack hotel. Room was clean and inviting. Bed was comfortable and linens great quality. Shepherd and staff at the front desk were so informative, professional and pleasant. True aloha spirit. Loved our stay will be back.

Exceeded expectations 🥰
Great location in Waikiki, walking distance to the beach & shops.
Good rooms (we received an upgrade and could already check in at 9h30)
Great atmosphere around the pool in the evening with live music.
Beachtowels & chairs for you to grab to go to the beach 🏖️
I wasn’t aware it’s a dog friendly hotel, and also didn’t had any problems with it.
