I like the fact that you can take your car in as early as 7:00 AM and they are also open on Saturdays to 4:00 PM. Also, pretty straight forward safety check.

I lost my registration so I went to get a safety check so I could get a new registration. The dude threatened to call the cops on me because I didn’t have my registration. He seemed completely unhinged. I left.

BEST SAFETY CHECK ON ISLAND!!
If you’re Coast Guard working on Sand Island, this is the place to go. It’s right outside base. Mr. Tagami is fast and efficient; just come before his lunch break at 10:30am or after at 12pm.
He seems stoic, but he’s kind and humorous. I will be back next year!

Great place for safety checks, especially if youʻre looking to get an out-of-state vehicle inspected for registration quickly. I called ahead both times and Mr.Tagami got everything done very efficiently as soon as I got there.

Fast and didn't have to wait long. Got me in and out. I'm very Happy. It's not like most places where you have to make an appointment and still have to wait to get safety done.

Came to do a safety check because supposedly the used car dealership that we bought our car from, sends their customers here. The guy that does safety checks here is one local japanese guy and he is sassy!! He's good but his attitude just makes me laugh. He needs to be nicer to his customers because I won't be coming back here.
