Team Papakolea Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a welcoming and friendly gym located in Honolulu. The facility offers plenty of mat space and is kept clean, providing a safe environment for training. Visitors, especially those on vacation, feel like they are part of a family and enjoy the safe, chill environment. Many express a desire to return, noting that if they lived nearby, this would be their home gym. Overall, the academy is praised for its friendly community, good instruction, and welcoming vibe.
My kids are newer in the beginner’s kid class, but our experience has been great so far! The staff has been very welcoming, and my kids look forward to attending each week. I’m looking forward to seeing the growth and confidence my kids will gain with this program.

Papakolea TPJJ is a great fit for my child. Kaleo is so patient and my child even though he struggles to get his foot out the door at times, he always enjoys his class sessions. I always think, I wish my child started TPJJ years ago.
