I had a wonderful experience renting a car from Tom. I rented a car for a little over two months and it was reliable, clean, and ran well. I heard about this company through a friend who had a great experience as well. Also, I want to mention that the pricing was very straightforward. No hidden fees, and the overall process was honest and easy. Tom was responsive and helpful.

Rented twice and both times car had transmission problems. Car would not work and company did not come tow it. Recommended I use my insurance to have it towed to their shop. Also kept part of my deposit.

I've rented twice from Tom's Auto, and it's been great both times.
Unbeatable prices on the island, close to the airport, and no long lines to deal with. Tom is a reliable and hardworking man who really looks after his clients with soul and respect, unlike most chain businesses. Tom knows his mechanics and, cherry on the cake, he is both witty and endearing.
I'm so thankful for my neighbor for sharing this local tip. If you need an affordable rental car on Oahu without any fuss, go with Tom's Auto. Highly recommended!

Great guy. Car was ok.. great price my friends paid double of what I paid. He even gave me a ride back to the airport. He's a quick 4 miles from the airport. I'm booking with him again in the future.

I have rented from Tom the last 3 times I’ve come to visit Oahu and their car rental services are easy and just spectacular. There’s no headache with them, no long waits or hidden fees. He doesn’t gouge and rents out in decent condition vehicles. Please support this local family owned company and rent from Tom’s Auto.

I can't speak to other people's experiences, only my own. We booked with Tom a few weeks before our trip to Hawaii. I was looking at about $700 for a one week stretch from a mainstream rental car place. I was able to get a full week with a decent car for $250!!! The tires looked a little bald, and it certainly wasn't a brand new car, but the AC worked great, and it did a fantastic job of getting us from point A to point B. I would have been happy to drive a rusty bucket around for $35/day, but we had a comfortable white Buick Encore. Tom was personable and even gave us a ride to the airport when we turned the car in! I realize experiences can be vastly different for people, but I was so impressed with the service and the reasonable cost for a long term rental. I will definitely recommend Tom's place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced rental and will be more than happy to go back myself in the future. Thank you, Tom!

Currently renting from Tom's auto. He provides older model vhicles at reasonable rates. Last week thought I had an issue brought the vehicle in to be serviced. Tom was very accommodating offered to provide another vehicle. My car is running great. Tom is kind, friendly, and provides great service. If you want great service and to save money Tom's auto is for you. Thank you Tom.
