Very poor customer service over the phone and no one answers. When someone did answer they hung up right after I explained that I needed help. Very unprofessional!

Home Depot has became our Black Friday tradition. It started decades ago when I noticed the poinsettias were so cheap that I could afford to buy one for each relatives gravesite. I remember initially buying less than half a dozen, now we need 17. When the kids were born, I brought them along for Black Friday. Popo (grandma) at one point joined us. It has evolved into a family tradition. Popo has difficulty walking now so we sit her in a non-congested aisle. Then her grandchildren hunts for the best poinsettias and brings them to her. Popo selects 17 of the best ones. Afterwards, the "poinsettia hunters" is treated to breakfast. Popo will nurture these poinsettias until her "retired poinsettia hunters" returns home for their winter break. She looks forward to visiting all the graves with her entire family. We spend one day convoying from one graveyard to another, ending with another great meal as a family. We have no photos of this Black Friday tradition so we made a point of taking one. Later we noticed a Home Depot employee photo bombed us. How apropos. In the background Home Depot employees have made this tradition special for over two decades. Thank you Home Depot employees. Thank you for greeting us and making us feel welcomed. Thank you for being pleasant even when you're busy. Keep up the good job and your HUMOR. Happy Holidays.

(Shopped 03/13/22 SU, 05/15/23 MO, 05/16/23 TU, 05/23/23 TU, and 06/01/23 TH): They might as well put a name plate at this depot because this will become my second home!I've anointed The Home Depot's Kalihi location as my primary hardware store while on O'ahu mainly due to proximity. In my family's line of business, you truly needed a store like this for all of your various home furnishings, gardening, projects, repairs, and more. Although there were both national (Lowe's) and regional (City Mill) competitors in the area, I scoped them out and found that The Home Depot brand was a better fit for our needs; plus, we have had a longstanding business account with them for all locations. Did these recent visits cement my positive attitude toward this depot of all-things home projects!?PURCHASE03/13/22 SU Goods ($253.50): My first visit, I grabbed a ton of cleaning stuff, bathroom items and other random things to start making the place feel like home. yelp.com/user_local_phot…05/15/23 MO Goods ($90.49): I snagged a sturdy step ladder yelp.com/user_local_phot… to reach those out-of-the-way places, and a few random items yelp.com/user_local_phot… to repair some things.05/16/23 TU Goods ($109.49): I desperately needed a tool set yelp.com/user_local_phot… so I was able to fix nearly everything, and frankly it made me feel more like a man - LOL!05/23/23 TU Goods ($27.84): Needed some furniture slider pads to protect the laminate flooring and rubber door stops to keep the doors open. yelp.com/user_local_phot…06/01/23 TH Goods ($522.97): I found the perfect curtain panels yelp.com/user_local_phot… for the place and nearly cleared out their inventory; plus, a silicone spray for the lanai door so it wouldn't stick. yelp.com/user_local_phot…SERVICELike worker bees, there were plenty of friendly staff members who buzzed around between aisles clad in their distinctive orange vests. Each person I dealt with was extremely helpful as I tried to learn the layout - mahalo!PARKING (FREE)Plenty of stalls on their large onsite private lot - 'nuff said!ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCEA large one-level warehouse building methodically sectioned off by departments with proper signage, countless aisles yelp.com/user_local_phot… and shelves nicely maintained and stocked, yelp.com/user_local_phot… and products galore, in addition to the outdoor nursery and items at the very front before you entered. Plenty of natural lighting came through the front part of the store while a ton of electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were no TVs while a murmur of background music could barely be heard through the sounds of conversations and vehicles. yelp.com/user_local_phot…ATTIRETotally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops.OVERALLKalihi's The Home Depot location more than filled my needs on this new adventure, and I'm expected to be back often. This was truly a one-stop shop with many well-known brands, wonderful merchandise variety, good prices, and wonderful customer service. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $1,004.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, although we used their commercial business credit card, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Home Depot and Lowes seem to have opposite problems. Its really weird. Lowes has a bunch of self checkouts, but always shuts down half, and has no regular cashiers. Home Depot has a bunch of self checkouts, but each one is staffed by a cashier that makes the process worse. Todays experience mirrors what happens all the time, the cashier calls you up to what is otherwise a self-checkout system, and is kind of lost in scanning items and takes quite awhile for that. Then just skips past everything to the payment screen. Doesnt ask if you're a PRO member or anything (I dont trust the system to recognize the card I have as a "card on file" as it's done it multiple times). Today was especially bad, because the cashier calls me up and is just grumpier than grumpy. I say "Good morning" all I get is a grunt. But ok, fine, not everyone's a morning person (im definitely not). She scans everything, aggressively says "Card??" and without waiting for an answer, skips past all of the screens to go to the Card Payment option. She then just glares at me as I have to back out of all the screens she skipped so I can put in my PRO number, then go BACK to the card payment screen. The whole time, "Card" is the only word she's said, and she quite literally is glaring at me while everything else is going on. Believe me, I would prefer to get stuff delivered, but for some reason, Home Depot just doenst offer delivery for a ton of their items in Hawaii. Even if the items are in store, there's no option for delivery or shipping. I would even pay a little extra if it meant not having to deal with the in-store issues. To some workers' credit, there are a couple of very nice, very personable ones. But those seem to be the exception to the rule. I dont feel that workers need to be super sun-shiney and positive all the time, but I would say they shouldnt be outright hostile to people that havent done anything either.

Mistakenly assumed a company proclaiming it was a depot for the home would have beds and frames, especially with their always rearing their corporate head whenever I searched for such products online, yet I was wrong. No beds, no frames, no knowledge. in fact, I was in Home Furnishings, and asked two relaxing staff members where the bed frames were, and (really) they both asked "What's that?"I explained it was the thing mattresses lay on, and it still drew a blank. I then simplified it with my asking where the mattresses were, but was informed they don't carry them in store. Oh well, at least Costco was nearby.

I'll start with a TLDR. 2 weeks have gone by since I bought my laundry machines, the washer showed up and was good, and 2 damaged dryers were delivered to my house, which I refused to accept. After attempting to work with the inept managers, I requested a refund and bought, picked up, and self-installed a dryer in less than 5 hours.Long versionI arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii Mar 17th, and got into my new house a week later. I went down to Home Depot around Memorial Day to see what they had for laundry units and a grill; I left that first visit with only a grill because the appliance associate was pretty rude and kept walking away from me to assist customers that were just showing up, instead of the guy (me) that had been asking for help for an hour. Why was there only one associate at this time? No idea...I returned the next day and got someone much better who showed me a few units until I decided on a set. I was told I would get a call to schedule delivery and installation.I got the call, washer, and dryer, delivery and installation, Jun 1st arrival is set to anywhere between 11am-4pm. The day arrives, and I receive around about 4 calls and 3 texts from 6am-7am saying my units are out for delivery, so I call work and get permission to take the day off.Delivery doesn't show until noonish. The washer looks great, runs, and made it worth the time, the Dryer is another story. It's damaged, delivery guys even tell me that it's a bad dent in the outside, so we roll the drum by hand and can hear metal grinding. Not good, right?? So I refuse it, and it returns to the store.Delivery guys tell me to call a 1-800 number in about 30 min; I wait 45 and do so. After getting yelled at by a Home Depot dot com associate for 20 minutes, I'm told to call the following day, so I do. The next associate is polite and makes sure everything is good for the second attempt to deliver my drye; says ill get a call tomorrow.Jun 2nd, I got the call; they are going to show up tomorrow between 11-4 again. They don't show until 2-3 with a dryer that has the same exact damage on it. So I refused again, this time I waited for 2 hours before calling the 1-800 number, to be told a manager will call me on Monday.Jun 12th now. No call, so I called again; the associate with the 1-800 is super nice and connected me to the local home depot, the manager that introduced himself says (or at least I thought I heard) that he is the store manager, and doesn't know what needs to be done, they will call me tomorrow when the appliances manager is in.Later that night, I receive a call from home depot again, saying they need to cancel my order; after arguing with the guy for almost an hour that, no, I never said it was going to a friend's house, reexplain the situation, no I rejected the unit due to damage, reexplain, no it was damaged both times not just the second time, reexplain. He finally realizes he is looking at the wrong person's notes, which there is a distinct possibility that was a complete lie; I have had family in sales, two damaged units are not a good thing, and usually compensation is required for the 3rd and beyond attempts. So as a tactic to look better and save on the compensation, have someone that barely speaks English, pretend to be inept, and cancel the order. Didnt work this time tho.Jun 13th now, no call again, so I call at 2 this time to try to catch the appliance manager, I can't get ahold of him, so the 1-800 associate tries to take care of it, but the manufacturer is closed, I need to call tomorrow again. Now its Jun 14th, I call at goddamn noon this time and hear that the 1-800 people contacted the manufacturer this morning, and they are out of stock. So Samsung needs to make more, then ship them to Home Depot in Hawaii, then I can get another delivery date... I just decided to cancel my order then and there, 1:15 PM, and it's still not canceled, the associate asks me to call back in 24-48 hours to get my refund, so I still don't even have my money back as I'm typing this.I get home

I don’t bother with reviews but I had to for this one! They are worst to work with! I have never experienced the worst customer service once you have purchased items from Home Depot then need assistance or service! Where More Doers Get More Done? ??♂️

I guess somebody hacked my girls home depot credit card and they did a investigation. It was a online purchase for 5xx for a saw. They went back and forth with her told her wait 30 days In 60 days they sent a letter that said she still has to pay the 5xx dollars. We asked for footage of whoever picked up the saw and which location we got no help at all. Now we have to pay 5 hundred some odd dollars for absolutely nothing. Home depot sucks Lowe's more better

don't buy appliances from this store. they have no inventory and when you order online they cannot guarantee your order will be delivered when promised. if you cancel your order they won't give you a FULL refund in a timely manner. I've waited 3 weeks and still have no received my 7k back but was advised to please call back on Monday. costco has received my order 3 weeks ago and will be delivering it on Wednesday when home depot pushed it back till November 3rd. home depot is a joke and customer service is horrible!!
