Continually have problems with my mail getting delivered. Most recently had a pckage returned to the mainland because the carrier said there’s “no such address” when it was in my informed delivery.

Postbox collects until 5:30pm, and there's a drive through box both on Richards St. And Merchant closer to the metered parking

I visit this USPS location frequently because it is close to work. They have metered parking stalls in a small lot on King Street side of the building and the entrance is located on the Richard Street side. This location can be very busy because they are in the downtown area ans very convenient for those that work in the surrounding businesses. There is a kiosk outside on the same side of the entrance along with a parcel only drop box. They do have letter drop boxes on both the King Street and Richard Street sides and they are both drive up. There are a few on the Richard Street side where you can drop off from the sidewalk as well. They also have their drop off only counter inside to the right when you enter. The employees here are nice and helpful. Sometimes when it gets very busy, they have an employee at the door assisting customers and help to make some procedures go faster. If you plan to drop off mail around 9am, it gets busy with all the mail trucks waiting to get their delivery for the day. Sometimes, you can get lucky and there is no line. That's usually when right they open and after the lunch rush, but it can get busy as well...

The most horrible post office ever their workers are constantly leaving my mail in other people's mailboxes then they don't take the responsibility. I've gone to supervisors with no avail I receive my neighbors mail every single week. That place needs a serious change in management. The manager had the goal to tell me that she spoke to the postman and he put my package in a mailbox but he doesn't remember a $40 fan which I lost and Amazon will not return my money because they put that they put it in a lock box well it wasn't my lock box. I also did a change of apartment same building just change the apartment # on 5/31 it is now 6/16 and I still don't get the mail in my mailbox so obviously they don't do anything correctly it's so sad I'm going to go paperless and I'm not ordering anything unless UPS or FedEx delivers because I cannot depend on this post office and obviously the postman doesn't know his numbers.

These jerks block the street and cause traffic and pedestrian hazards every morning.I've brought this to their attention but they don't care

Let's start off with they put my package in somebody else's lock box admitted to it but now they will not refund me or do anything about it so I'm out my merchandise and my money then I make a change of address it's been 2 weeks and they're still putting my mail in the incorrect mailbox I don't know what's going on at that post office but they really need to vamp it up it's disgusting how they treat their customers I spoke to a supervisor she told me they admitted fault and they can't do anything about it nice response I've never heard anything like it My next step is to go see if I can speak to the postmaster next week when I take the morning off I'll update my review then and maybe then I'll have some names.

Dropped off packages Friday before close and they weren't scanned in until Saturday. I had paid extra on some of them for faster delivery and instead of being delivered Saturday, they didn't arrive until Monday. I understand that some businesses don't get to certain things right before close, but it seems like the United States Post Office should scan in packages the day they are dropped off if it's during business hours, even the last few minutes.

Minimally, they are consistent. I mean not only are their mailcarriers (note: they carry; they do not deliver!) unable to mentally process their own USPO labels (e.g. let your carrier kknow when and where), but the Post Office inself seems to exist solely to give the staff a place to hang out for 8 hours on the clock.I tried every one of theiir options on the label to leave my package, and they NEVER left the package. Then, my having given up, they said I could pick it up on a certain day at this location.Well, 40 minutes later, they could still not find my package. Side note: it took them 15 minutes to find their manager, and that only led to their mock efforts to locate my package.I finally had to give up and leave so I was not late for work. In the future, I will walk to the factory as it will be faster.

Historical Building in Downtown Honolulu...The King David Kalākaua Building is really beautiful with its archways. My mom used to work here many years ago before the Department of Hawaiian Homelands moved to Kapolei.I only visit this building now for the US Postal Service. Usually, I just drop my mail off in the convenient blue drop boxes on the streets. Both Richards Street and Merchant Street have drop boxes! On Saturdays, when the Post Office is closed, mail is picked up by 4:15pm.Sometimes I use the self-service kiosk on the Richards Street side of the building. The self-service kiosk makes mailing packages and buying postage stamps more There is a window open for special pick up of mail (8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday; and 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday to Friday) for customers who have mail boxes here.Parking in the lot on Merchant Street is metered. There's also metered street parking which is free on Sundays and holidays. Thanks to the U.S. Postal Service for their efficiency and dependability!

Decent post office with good service. Conveniently located downtown, provides all the services needed. I’ve only had a few minor issues with deliveries but they were quickly fixed when I addressed them. Only real bad thing is that a lot of homeless folks set up residence here at night, and even a few 24/7 on the south side of the building. They leave a lot of trash and other things, and I’m fairly certain there are drug dealings out of one of the shanties. Wish the post office would do something about that.

I wish I could submit this with zero stars. Either packages are being scanned into their facility and growing legs or somebody’s stealing.

Great location and services! Only downside is we have to pay for parking (metered parking). They have every supply. Friendly staffs.

This has to be the laziest post office in the world, they have lost several of my packages and still have not responded to anything I have complained about.
