I had the extreme pleasure of being served by Faye last week, and the experience couldn't have gone smoother. She was about to step around the counter when she saw that I was carrying a heavy package but I ran up so she instead reached over the counter to pull it up. She then proceeded to very sweetly and patiently walk me through the entire process of sending the package to Japan. I can't remember when I've had a more pleasant interaction at the post office. She is a definite asset to the Kaimuki branch as well as the entire U.S. Postal system!

This Post office will ignore your request for drop off over and over and argue with you over and over. Disrespectful management disrespectful workers. Lived all over the island and never had issues like i have with this office. Needs an audit 100%

Good supplies and nice staff with a convenient, clean place. Faye was the clerk I met, and she made my first time mailing something a fun and enjoyable experience. She was patient, friendly, and understanding. Waiting was not long either and there was barely a line for waiting.

Employee was incredibly helpful. I’ve been here several times and actually all interactions were great.Rarely a line. Downside is the street parking but not too bad.

What’s not to appreciate ?! It’s a quarter for 20 minutes and they NEVER check early morning. Also makes for a great back drop for photo shoots.

Have you ever thought walking into a federal run establishment.. would be so pleasing? Lol I love this USPS office..!! Aunty Faith.. that's what we call her. She is the sweetest most patient person I've ever came across at any Post office. She treats everyone equally as if it's their first time shipping/mailing anything. She gives suggestions or even try to find the cheapest way possible for you :) -On KokoHead Ave, ground St level (greenish building) -Parking: Street Metered or Behind the building -Quick Blue box drop off right in front -Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00-4:00 Tip: If you're in no hurry, depending how busy she is, may take 15-20 mins for service. Remember only Aunty Faith runs this location :) Please be Patient :)

The folks at the Kaimuki USPS are gold and show you how USPS is supposed to work. Had to mail off a bunch of omiyage and dropped in on a busy Sat AM. They had an employee out front, dedicated to: -helping people feel welcomed -sorting the line, prepping folks for the counter (you get a slip of paper with your intended transactions marked down, so it cuts down on time/customer at the window) -herding the front of the queue forward (and consequently, folks in the back out of the sun. A million mahalos!) -living aloha. The folks at the counter are swift, friendly, and pros. No problems.

Faye at this location is possibly the nicest post office worker I have encountered. Multiple times she has gone out of her way to help me without even knowing me. Really a nice experience here.

I grew up in Palolo and am very aware of this neighborhood post office. Service is always quick, friendly, and efficient. Lots of parking and I am glad that it is still around. Due to COVID19, hours have changed. Highly recommend if you want a good post office with friendly staff.

This USPS location is great because when I pick up lunch in Kaimuki, I can drop off my flat rate boxes or buy stamps. They operate out of a tiny space but it still works. On the right side, there is a counter and you can drop off your prepaid flat rate shipping boxes. Don't drop them there if it doesn't have a label! I've been lucky the last few times since I got a metered parking space on Koko Head Ave right in front and I didn't have to carry my boxes too far. If I see a long line coming out of the door and there's no street parking, I will go to the Pahoa Ave location instead. During the pandemic, there has only been 1 person working at the counter. I don't recommend coming here during the holidays (Christmas). It's super busy and people are mailing too many packages that do not have prepaid labels. It holds up the line and you're stuck standing out in the hot Kaimuki sun and refilling your parking meter.

Faye is fantastic! Working by herself, she is informative as she takes care of her customers. My wife and I had questions about sending a package internationally, and she was more than happy to help us. With her calm demeanor and smiling face, she made us feel at ease amidst a bustling post office. Thank you faye, much appreciated!

Wife and I went to drop off a package to mail that had to be weighed and postage calculated. Got there a little before they opened and tho there was a short line, it move fairly quickly. Social distancing measures were put in place, six feet and max of two in the lobby. Postal worker was efficient and fairly friendly given the situation. We don't come here very often even tho it's our local post office. Parking is usually not easy and the hours not conducive to when we usually go.
