“I saw the outside and was intrigued... Plus I love ice cream so had to try. When I entered I was slightly confused, as I saw a bunch of touristy items and clothes for sale, but saw a lady behind what looked like an ice cream counter. Unfortunately, when I went in; they only had gelato the day I went. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and set me up with a cover for my gelato so I could carry it with my lunch items from one of the food trucks. There was also a lilikoi jasmine tea that I saw after I ordered that I will need to try next time. For a grand opening, it was not very busy, but overall a great place to sit and relax if you get too hot from being outside and cool down with some gelato. The Kona Coffee Gelato was fabulous ?.”
“Don't know if he worked here but one night around 2019 I saw someone with a name tag arguing with a group outside and telling them to get lost. Then he zapped a member of their party with a big taser. Another night I was parked across from Mother Walden Park and heard a woman scream from a speeding car, "STOP IT!!!" at the top of her lungs. “Greenery, palm trees, and a lake. The ocean in Hawaii is beautiful, but this country club is also one of the most relaxing and beautiful places. The clubhouse has several large venues, and the golf course and natural scenery are spread out. The lake on the premises is called Salt Lake, and is also used as a general name for the region.”

“3.5 Stars – Disappointed About the Tower Closure, But Still a Scenic Stop
We visited the Aloha Tower Marketplace early in the morning, excited to go up the iconic Aloha Tower—only to find out it’s closed for long-overdue renovations and will be for the next 2 years. That was definitely a disappointment, especially since we had planned around the visit.
That said, the area still has its charm. There are some great photo opportunities around the harbor, and you can take in beautiful views of the Honolulu Harbor, the Coast Guard ships, and the Spirit of Honolulu cruise docked nearby.
While we couldn’t go up the Tower itself, we still enjoyed walking around the area and taking in the peaceful morning harbor views. Overall, it’s still a nice spot to explore, even if the main attraction is temporarily unavailable.
Tip: Check ahead for updates on the tower reopening—but don’t skip the area altogether. It’s a relaxing and scenic part of Honolulu worth strolling through.”
