If you are searching for a vet clinic where you and your pets are treated with respect and at most care, look no further! The doctors and the team are extremely caring and knowledgeable, you wouldn't want to take your pets anywhere else. My dog needed a dental surgery and had to extract seven teeth. Although our previous doctor Dr. Ganzer no longer works there, Dr. Nicole Wong was amazing! She kept us updated with progress on the surgery day, and followed up how my dog is doing the next day as well. My dog's extraction sites healed much quicker than anticipated, and he is happy again! He now actually let us brush his remaining teeth! On top of that, they gave us a generous discount! We really appreciate King Pet Hospital's professionalism and integrity.”

“I started bringing my cat Oliver to Surf Paws in 2021, and I am so glad I did! Oliver used to hate going to his previous vet. He would meow (which he never does) in the car, and tremble in their exam room. And after I brought him home from his annual checkup, he would be lethargic the whole day. This is definitely not the case with Surf Paws. Oliver explores the exam room, and purrs while Dr. M and her staff examine him, and is a very happy boy during and after his yearly checkup. I am a hands on Cat Mom, and Dr. M and her staff are amazing! They are so great with the animals and humans! Ordering food is also a breeze! You just give them a call or send an email and in a few days your food is ready for pickup. I can schedule any type of appointment online, whether it be a yearly exam or a nail trim. Thank you Surf Paws for giving Oliver such amazing care! I wish I would have come to you when he was just a baby!”

“Dr Obara and his staff are wonderful. They truly care about your pet's needs and try to keep the costs to a minimum. I was previously using another veterinary clinic in Hawaii kai and their prices kept going higher and higher. That's when we decided to look for a vet that makes your pet's needs a priority over $$$. One of my dogs desparately needed dental work and was suffering. We couldn't afford to have it done at my old vets office and we finally found Dr Obara and his team. They are kind and very professional. Dr Obara quickly got the wheels turning and my dog got all his dental work done, plus they removed a growth that was getting bigger on his leg within 2 days of my call. His prices are very reasonable and both myself and my dog are very pleased. Highly recommend this clinic.”

We were able to avoid the ER, get X-rays and have him examined by a doctor we trust the second we pulled into the parking lot.”

“My 10 year old kitty, who is my world was so sick, I thought I had to put her down. Dr. Obara not only stabilized and saved her, but has given me a renewed outlook in my life. Compassion and kindness is still alive especially at 2203 S Beretania St. The team there treats Sassy and me like family and she gets so excited to see her friends when we walk into the clinic. If I could give them 50 stars I would. Ok so the parking is still a bear but such a minor issue compared to all the benefits. Thank you Dr Obara!”

“Dr Ednee Yoshioka a very young and intelligent woman, as we're lucky to have her❗They're very accommodating, as I will do this later, and I wouldn't know if reviews are read esp by the staff, or their veterinarians, I've never seen so many REVIEWS before, especially for a professional practice that deals with Animals, as I can't read those reviews, but I think they're read by the Owner, as like the many other businesses, depending on your reviews, they're sometimes read and replied to..❗Ones that have helped us, are sincerely appreciated, like Christina, helps me to find this place, as she's a local here, knows the island well, and Katie',anda few others, but this young lady "Sam..antha" is very special, being the 1st one on a Sunday, spent a lot of time telling me about the Vets they have there and who she thought was best for what I seemed most interested with, she told me about Dr Ednee Yoshioka, and she's our Vet at the PetVet Animal Hospital, as she spent significant time with Brandy and Me at our 1st meeting with her. I truly appreciate it !! Gary and my golden retriever Brandy, as I hope 11 years of age is not considered "old" because she's still and always will continue being an athlete❗She must have ran, and Swim for probably 200 miles from 2013, to now, 2024, and I am very sorry for rescheduling, as I have too many things going on with my life, as well with Brandy's because she's what mostly matters to me, as I need to take care of myself to take care of Brandy, she does really mean the world to me...”

“I had a fantastic experience at The Hawaii Kai Vetco. I have taken my Doberman Pinscher, Princess there several times since they opened, and it's been amazing. Dr. Jenna Wallace treats her patients like they're part of her family, and it shows.She is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. She explains things in a way that's easy to understand, and you can tell she really cares about our furry friends. But it's not just her; the entire team at this clinic is outstanding. They're all so friendly and they genuinely love animals.If you're looking for a vet that truly cares about your pet, I highly recommend Dr. Jenna Wallace at Hawaii Kai Vetco. “I have only brought my animals here for spaying/neutering, since they were the most affordable. Older ladies in the front are nice, just very busy. Post-procedure they let me know of any infections my pets had, and gave me antibiotics, free of charge. Even had the doctor call to update me on any complications with surgery, which was nice. I was very hesitant to leave my pets overnight, but we are instructed to do so. Just worried they are away from home and who knows the conditions they are kept in, since their establishment looks very old, dated and cluttered. I will say this, their employee Lee/Leigh(spelling) is obnoxious. Rudely put me on hold, like I was an inconvenience. And I've brought over 5 of my babies to them, spending between $350-$500 per pet. I was very nice, patient and accommodating. She has the worst attitude in customer service. 0/10 for Lee. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but nonetheless, no excuse when choosing to work in customer service. So just beware of her horrendous attitude.”

“The staff at Surf Paws are always polite and everyone acts like they are in a medical setting and not a retail store where the people coming in are just customers. I called last night about something I saw in my dogs p*** and at 8am the next day (when they opened) I got a call telling me to bring down a sample. Brought it in at 8:45am, and in 20 minutes I had the deworming pills. Thanks to the staff and Dr. Kingery for treating us like clients/patients and not like "customers"!”

“Yesterday was the the second time this year that this vet office stepped up to take a cat for Youth In Asia with just a phone call. The first one was a feral cat that had been hit by a car. No vet wants anything to do with that !!! Yesterday was my beloved cat of like 14 years. I think she had a stroke and went blind. It was horrible and she was in distress. In any event, the vet that I normally go to was all booked up. Who needs a vet like that ???? Not me. Arms of Aloha which we have used for 2 dogs could not come till the next day ( today ) at 1:00 .... I think what people should be looking for is compassion for the animal. That is what makes a vet a good vet. This is the only clinic that seems to embrace that.”
