3 level subcontracting, then VIP car will not help upEazy to rent and reply if you write, but they are a broker, the actual car rental company subcontracted to an horrible 3rd party and then VIP car will not help upVIP cars reply that rental went smoothly; that is wrong, I had to scream at the 3rd rental company because they wanted to charge extra fees for car wash and and existing dents recognition, VIP cars has no idea as of what goes on on the floor when you deal with there subs !!! VIP car will not partially refund because we had a lower class car than payed for. these reviews will stop if partially refunded :)

Beware of VIP Cars! Absolutely the worst car rental experience ever. I rented a car for a 3-week tour of Italy. I paid a large deposit well in advance. Then, confirmed my car reservation about one week prior to arriving in Italy. On July 22, we arrived at the Noleggiare desk in Rome and we were told that our reservation was cancelled by VIP Cars because we arrived 2 hours late. Pick up time was 10:00 a.m., but we arrived at 12:00 noon. Without any notice, or any attempt to contact us, our reservation was cancelled and our car was given away to someone else. Noleggiare had a "too bad, so sad" attitude. They said that I needed to contact VIP Cars. I could not reach anyone at VIP Cars by phone. The only option was email. We were going back and forth with emails, transferred from one person to another, and they offered us no assistance. In each of my emails, I requested a call back, but no one phoned me. We were left there with 3 kids trying to figure out what to do. Finally, after waiting 3 hours, a car became available, but Noleggiare charged us an additional $700. For the last 3 weeks I have been emailing VIP cars and requesting a phone call and still no one has called me. Several customer service agents have replied to my emails (Johnson, Adam, Nancy, Roman.... Still waiting for Roman who said he would have an update for me in 24 hours- it's been 4 days) and I've had to re-explain my issue each time, with no resolution. It's been incredibly frustrating. VIP Cars, if I have your attention now, I'm still waiting for a phone call after 3 weeks of trying to communicate with you. We want a refund for the additional $700 that we were charged by Noleggiare. To everyone else looking for a car rental company, save yourself the stress and aggravation. My father in law rented a car from Drivalia and had a wonderful experience. Despite the fact he was 2 hours late, he still had his car waiting for him when he arrived.

I absolutely would NOT RECOMMEND working with this company. They are powerless to do anything if there are any issues with your reservation. I reserved a car via VIP Cars for Dollar rental. When I arrived to pick up my car I was informed that since I was paying with a debit card and not a credit card (which was no problem when I paid for the reservation) that I was required to provide a $500 deposit. This was absolutely nowhere in any of the information prior to the booking. Additionally, they required a printed or digital copy of my actual return flight (and I was not keeping the car for my entire stay so what difference did it make) which I didn't have and which they wanted me to go back to airport to obtain a copy of. I asked the Dollar rep if I could just cancel the reservation (and I paid the senseless $30 at the time of booking so that I could have the honor of being able to cancel!) and she replied, yes, no problem, and she confirmed that she had not charged me. When I called VIP later in the day I talked to "Dave" (no way this was his real name) who said that the $30 cancellation protection is only is you use it 2 hours before the booking time, so I will be charged for one day's rental of a car I never got to use. Total bs.

WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US!!! i recommended this place to everyone i know that travels to Hawaii. Great experience, car was great, scooters were lots of fun.. great prices.. best places to get rental!!

These people should not be in business, because they basically take your money and leave you in foreign countries with all kind of local suppliers that should have no business renting cars. We lived a nightmare in Jordan dealing with a supplier named Ashraf car rentals,, we had all kind of trouble with the car since day1 including life treatnkng security issues at night and in the middle of the deserts where we had to get the local police involved and when we contacted VIp car rentals, they basically left us to hang with the local supplier. So stay safe and enjoy your vacation or business by staying at from these people.

EXTREMELY POOR Customer Service!!! Would not recommend.If you're planning on extending your car rental. They do everything they can to not extend your insurance that you purchased. I had to enlist my lawyers to monitor the email exchanges between us as I could clearly see they do whatever they can to obfuscate around having to follow through with insurance commitments and generally very untrustworthy. They are off putting in regards to customer service and provide very poor customer service. Would highly recommend to stay away from them...What could they do better? The answer to this is very simple. Just become humane humans. Treat people with decency and respect. Follow the law. Be ethical and provide good customer service.

They cancelled us near the last minute --even AFTER we paid them to secure the car rental.They asked us to pay over 53% more-- but we did not see the email until they cancelled the resv.

Excellent service! After checking different car rentals in the area we found this one. We got a great deal on a blue Jeep and enjoyed the car for 2 days. The process of booking the car was very uncomplicated and easy. No waiting and we were done in 5 minutes. The guys were super friendly and everything went very well.Returning the car was just as easy and uncomplicated.Our Jeep was very reliable and we enjoyed our mini road-trip to the north shore and east coast!Thank you again, you made our stay in Waikiki special!

Cancellation fee was charged when my trip was canceled. I guess I didn't read the fight and print because I would never book with a rental car that charges a cancellation fee. I will never use them again.

Our car broke down going from a funeral to a family dinner. We were stuck waiting for a new car for about two hours. The car they gave us broke down a couple days later. They gave us $100 off for the trouble. The cars are old and clearly not well maintained. It's worth the extra price to do somewhere they give newer, better cars. I gave them the second start because the guy that brought us a different car was very kind and seemed sincerely apologetic. Unfortunately, the person in charge of giving the rebate didn't seem to feel our loss of time with family was worth too much.

On March 24, when I arrived to Dollar car at LAX, after more than 12 hours flight, the 2 ladies on the counter clearly advised me to check the trunk of the car that I booked at vip car rental because there was no possibility of fitting more than 1 big suitcase. I checked the size of the trunk and indeed, it was small so I had to find a car with a bigger trunk to fit my bags. Vip cars clearly described inaccurately the car that I booked, and because of this I had to incur with an extra charge of $2,820. I have already attempted to resolve this problem by phone and email with Ryan Johnson. Unfortunately, the problem remains unresolved. Do not rent from this website, customer service is terrible, they overcharge and clearly they don't care about clients.

They gave us a broken car. They took another deposit for nothing more than $ 500. The owner is rude and didn't answer calls???. Be careful tourists.
