Ever since Windsor opened in Hawaii, my daughter and I have been going to the Ala Moana and Pearlridge locations and we LOVE the stores, the staff, the vibes and the clothes. However, on 09/30/23 my daughter and I went into the Ala Moana location because she needed to buy a dress for a party that evening. We walked around the sales floor for a little while and she found 2 beautiful dresses. An employee came up to us and asked very professionally and kindly "would you like me to set up a dressing room for you?" My daughter said yes please. The employee went towards the back of the store, came back and said "I got you set up in dressing room #2, whenever you are ready you can go in there." My daughter and I told her thank you. We looked around for a few minutes then my daughter said she was ready and we proceeded to dressing room #2. My daughter was a few feet ahead of me and I watched her walking into the dressing room and as she did that another employee started running towards and after my daughter yelling "Hey! Hey! Stop! You can't go in there!" I told the employee "excuse me do you have a problem? That dressing room was set up for her by another employee" She turned around glaring at me and said "I work here!". I said "ok, do you have a problem?" She said "she can't just go in there like that." I said again, "an employee already set my daughter up in there and said when she's ready to go in there" she said "well how much items are in there!?" I said "2", she snapped and said "well did she take any more items in there cause I didn't see!" I told her "no she didn't". She said "well I didn't know!" I said "well now you know." She said "I'm just doing my job!" The entire interaction she was mean, rude, she didn't blink once, her eyes were really wide and angry, she had her jaw clenched weirdly, with her top lip tucked and upper teeth exposed which appeared like she was on cocaine or coming down maybe. I also wanted to point out that she was wearing a skirt that was so tiny her private parts were almost exposed. She stormed off, and I stood outside my daughters dressing room waiting for her to finish trying on the 2 dresses. I observed a Caucasian couple with a stroller walk up to the dressing room across my daughter, the woman had a few pieces of clothes in her hand and walked right into an empty dressing room. Because she had a bunch of clothes in her arms I assume she did not have a room set up for her. That same rude employee walked over slowly and nicely (still with those crazy eyes) but with a weird smile, she did not chase the woman into the dressing room, nor did she say a word or question her. She then approached the husband and said "I have a bench for you to sit on if you want" and then turned toward me and glared at me. The guy declined. My daughter came out of the dressing room and asked me to make the purchase because she can't believe what that employee did and she was embarrassed and scared. My daughter is a minor, she's 16 years old. I was mad at that point and said I'm not and walked out of the store. My daughter put the dresses back and walked out too. I called the store and spoke with the acting store manager who apologized profusely and knew exactly what employee I was talking about. I was told this was not the first time she has done this to people. And that that employee has a problem with authority or being told anything. She said she has a really bad attitude and that she will be talking to her and reporting it to the district manager. I'm not sure why we were treated so badly by that employee, I don't know if it was a racial thing because we have black hair and look Hispanic even though we're not. She was Caucasian and the couple that she treated so nicely and didn't question was Caucasian or if it was because she stereotyped us another way like we didn't have m

The staff was super helpful. Danica helped me pick out an outfit for my friends birthday party and was incredibly helpful with finding different option. Overall it was a great experience!

Today, I visited Windsor at Ala Moana. My friend tried on an outfit and stepped out to show me. As we discussed how great she felt and looked an employee asked if her if she needed a larger size. She said she didn't need one. The employee insisted. My friend told her she felt great in what she was wearing and it fit just fine. The employee continued to insist. We asked her why she kept doing that and she said because the length was too long. I said a larger size would make it longer and I do not need a larger size. Then she said oh I meant smaller and walked away. We complained to the manager as my friend fought back tears. That employee embarrassed her, made her feel ashamed of her body and never apologized for her comment even though my friend was clearly hurt. I will never shop at that store again. I do not appreciate how she was treated and I hope this behavior is addressed. It was absolutely uncalled for.

There needs to be a reducation of some of the employees at the Ala Moana location. This situation was not handled correctly at all. I think her name is Reanna but she was very quick to body shame my friend in the dressing room when she tried on some pants. My friend was really happy with the fit. Her face immediately fell when from across the way, the employee(reanna) told her she needed a bigger zmsize. She did not apologize and continued to repeat the remarks. When I spoke with her manager, she shouted from where she was behind the register and argued with me WHILE she was on the phone with another customer. She is rude and awful. I can't believe the intelligence of this individual is so incredibly low. If this representation of the values of this store than you should be ashamed of yourselves. Do better.VERY rude employees. I will not be returning and I will be very vocal with informing others to also not shop here. If you want your day RUINED, shop here.

First time coming here and last time coming here. I was excited when actually found stuff I liked and went to try it on but I didn't know if they allowed people to just walk in without counting how many items we have so I asked this worker if I could try stuff on and she said with the nastiest attitude "you can go in any room that's open" while giving me a stank face, I was shocked at first so I just walked out because I was disgusted. I've never seen someone look so miserable and be so bad at their job. I hope she gets her attitude fixed.

clothes are fine, but my issue was the worker. I don’t know who, but I came into to return a dress and the worker who proceeded my return was incredibly rude. She kept giving me attitude and rolling her eyes. She then asked me “do you have the card you paid with?” and to that I said yes, and held up my card. She stared at me again and said in an annoyed tone “do you have the card?” And I said yes again, and waved it since I showed her already. She then just stared at me and held her hand out in front of the card reader so my initial thought was that I had to stick my card in, she then rolled her eyes and said “I need to see it” and again, sounding very annoyed. She then snatched it aggressively as soon as I held out the card for her. I then just ignored her the whole time. She seems like someone who 1) never learned manners 2) was never trained to speak to customers properly—not like you would need to anyway, It’s human decency!!!

I didnt go in the store but I'm just giving it 5-stars based on the nice dresses on the mannequins. I noticed their opening hours sign on the door and was confused. ?? Sign says open 11:00PM-7pm

Windsor was one of my top places to find a dress. I looked up all the hours and it said it closed at 8pm. I got there at around 6:45 and they said they closed at 7pm. I take full responsibility for not knowing the appropriate time to be there but there was also a lack of customer service. I understand that they were about to close so I apologized and asked if I should leave or if I would be able to try on one dress that I had my eye on. The worker replied "Whatever your already here as long as you hurry up before we close I guess your fine." I took that with a grain of salt. Unfortunately the dress wasn't for me and instead of trying on more I decided to leave because I know what it's like to wait up for a customer before closing. As I walked out I apologize one e again for coming in right before closing and then said thank you. While walking out the door another worker said "thank god bye" Because of the lack of customer service I will not be coming back. Again I apologize for coming late but a customer is a customer and they should all be treated with respect!

Was really excited to finally purchase something for myself- as a momma I never get out and get to wear nice stuff anymore. This store was on the top of the list for my outfit. Sad to say I got absolutely nothing, and I wanted to buy so much cute stuff. Due to lack of service and very rude staff, I will not be returning. There are ways to treat and talk to guests in your store- and these employees needs to be trained on how to treat their potential buyers. I've worked in retail and customer service for over 13 years- this is unacceptable. Update to my initial review. I'm changing my 1 star to a 3 star for the responsiveness from the Owner Cynthia who is managing this yelp account. She listened to my honest feedback and I believe she was sincere about wanting to make things better with customer service & interaction in the store.

At the Ala Moana location employee Linda assisted my daughter with a fitting room. I step out for a minute when I come back employee Linda was telling my daughter only one person in the fitting room as she is telling her that I come in and ask my daughter what she was telling her. My daughter told me , I think she thought I was another person. But what happened is employee Linda thought I went in inside the fitting with my daughter, she wasn’t sure and she decided just to tell my daughter that. I asked employee Linda what happened she told me, because you disappeared on me I thought you went inside the fitting, instead of making sure of the situation and her surroundings she was accusing my daughter in the fitting. Just because some customers do that to you doesn’t mean everyone will do the same. You got to be careful. Not everybody is the same. Better customer service to be successful!
