Akaka Falls State Park is a beautiful and must visit place in a lush rain forest setting. The trail to the falls is absolutely gorgeous, fairly easy, and a great little hike. It is a roughly 30 minute loop, all concrete with a hand rail the whole way, but has many steps and a lot of stairs. The surroundings, weather, and nature are immaculate and amazing. The wild and natural setting features many interesting plants and vegetation to view along the way. The waterfall itself is super cool to look at and worth the walking, though the bottom cannot be seen from the viewing area. There is an entry fee, and parking is available. Visitors are advised to bring a water bottle and patience, as it can be busy. The beautiful forest area makes it a neat walk, more exciting than other local attractions.
Very beautiful park with a short trail to the waterfall viewpoint. The short walk goes through rainforest and lush flora. You can view the rain forest ecosystem upclose.

This is a tough one to rate. Akaka falls was a nice waterfall the sister fall, No biggie. Parked on the side road to avoid the $10 parking fee. The $5 pp entrance fee was worth the view. You only need 30 minutes at most to see both falls.
