“I’ve gone to Kim at Maui Computer Care a couple times over the past few years, and I’ve been really impressed both times. She is extremely knowledgeable and clearly understands computer hardware and troubleshooting at a very deep level. You can tell she genuinely enjoys solving problems and cares more about fixing things properly than trying to sell you unnecessary upgrades.

The first time I went in was for a failed power supply, and she recommended that I upgrade from a traditional hard drive (HDD) to a solid-state drive (SSD). At the time I didn’t fully understand how big of a difference that would make and didn’t do it right away, but years later when my computer was taking forever to boot and running really slow, I realized she had been right all along.. by then SSDs had basically become the standard.

The second time I went back she replaced a fan and recommended a quieter, higher-quality one that I’ve been very happy with. She also helped me with the SSD upgrade and took the time to sit with me and show me how to transfer my files from the old drive to the new one before wiping it. She even let me record the steps so I could reference it later, which I really appreciated.

Overall, Kim is incredibly smart, very fair, and does excellent work. I trust her completely with my computer and wouldn’t go anywhere else on Maui.”

“Staff was amazing. Called them after getting off the plane and they immediately helped. Offered to hold our luggage while we went to eat and they replaced a broken iPhone 17 screen so vacation wouldn’t be affected and worked with our Apple Care with no issues. Great service and from what I saw great prices on their retail items displayed.”
