H&R Block was horrible to work with this year. My tax professional completed my taxes, then stopped working at H&R Block without handing me off to someone else to finish the submission. She nor anyone else responded to my messages through the portal. I call customer service who set up 3 different appointments to connect me with another tax professional; the tax professional never called, showed up, or communicated about the appointments. H&R Block customer service made me an in-person appointment at an office that was no longer taking appointments. Finally, I connected with Grace Nakamoto out of the Kahului office, and she did a fantastic job. I just needed to connect with her a month ago.

Incompetent, unprofessional, and lazy. Delia jones held onto my taxes for six weeks. Doesn’t know how to download them then told me she figured it out then reached out and told me she can’t figure it out. I told her I’ll come in and bring it and she said she doesn’t wanna work with me. If you want unreliable and amazingly incompetent, this is the H&R Block for you.

Incompetent and unprofessional! Delia said my taxes will take her 1 hour to complete. 6 weeks later still not done!
I provided all documents to Delia 6 weeks ago —on a very simple tax return a previous H&R person did for me last year. The last person completed everything in 45 minutes.
She waited 6 weeks to tell me she cannot open the documents and will not help me. She was rude, relatively lazy in her unwillingness to work with me. No solutions offered—just complaints. I offered to come in and bring my documents. She said that won’t work. I asked if she’s available to see tomorrow and she said she won’t work with me. She’s incompetent, arrogant, lazy then gets an attitude when held accountable.
SHE has issues doing her job and waits AFTER 6 weeks!! Only days left to file taxes to tell me she WILL NOT work with me.
If you want an unreliable & unprofessional person who will lie to you— go to this H&R Block!
I even complained to her and said I’ll have to warn others about this terrible experience so no one else goes through what I just went through— with arrogance she says, “go ahead and write a bad review.”
Amazingly irresponsible and careless!
