Overall vibe is good, but there is old smell in the rooms typically from AC or mold.

This has been my best hotel choice so far and I really loved being here. It was a last minute booking for one night stay. The room is extremely spacious and clean. The idea of complementary bottles stood out for me. They give free take home sipper bottles to refill with water from the machines , a wonderful idea to reduce plastic waste on the island. They also have a courtesy room with a living room and a full restroom for guests who have checked out for the day but still need a place to freshen up before heading out. The free shuttle service to the airport is a definite add on. This hotel surpassed customer service expectations for me.

Great spot to stop if your flight is early in the morning. Easy to get to.

I had a wonderful time here! Amazing staff❤️It's right on the harbor bay, so there's a short beach that you can enjoy ! It's close to the airport, big plus they shuttle you from airport to hotel and back!

We stayed here for a business trip and everyone in our group (5 couples) LOVED this hotel! It has a boutique-y feel with an attention to detail and operated by friendly and kind staff. Lots of little touches that really make this place feel special; logo water bottles to take home and a wall with post it notes so visitors can leave what they did on island for others to read. Our room was a bit old school, but had a lovely charm to it and it should be noted that it was VERY clean. Comfy bed and great pillows! The proximity to the airport cannot be beat and it is very quiet. We had a balcony room a few rooms away from the ocean and fell asleep to the sound of the waves.. Total bliss!! We also grabbed a quick to-go order for dinner at the restaurant on the property, Tante’s. Our server was very friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and out very quickly for a to go order. Very impressed with this property and we will be back! Thank you Maui Seaside!

Recommended by Maui residents. Convenient location to OGG airport. Well maintained. Recent upgrades / remodel. Professional staff. Employees take obvious pride in their work. Loved our stay here.

Rooms: My room was clean, but the rooms are in sore need of updating and need better sound insulation. During my stay I could very clearly hear every single person that walked down the communal hallway as well as the elevators and my neighbors.

***Do not book here*** Absolutely horrible customer service. We made the mistake of booking this hotel ($500+ for one night) when our flight got cancelled and we had to stay 2 extra nights. Our second flight also got cancelled and then rebooked for 1 night earlier. We called the hotel over 24 hrs before our reservation to tell them what happened and asked to cancel. They refused to refund ANY part of our night. $500+ dollars wasted and with all the flight cancellations happening, it’s a guarantee they will get that roomed rebooked.

Good: This place looks nice from outside. There is a pool (but I didn’t need it). There are 4 for pits around the pool, which were good. Can hear ocean wave sound at night. Quiet place. Happy hour on Sunday with local food.Bad: Rooms are motel level. Found roaches in the room. Towels look yellowish. No comforter (only thin blanket). Boring neighborhood — very few good restaurants. Very expensive considering the quality inside.Rooms: Very bad. Motel level rooms. Found roaches. Towels do not look very clean. Utilities look old.Has room service. Has free coffee bags.Nearby activities: There are daily happy hours across the street and there are varieties of local food there. Neighborhood is generally boring except that happy hour.Walkability: Almost nothing within walk distance.Food & drinks: Very few high-end restaurants near by. Hotel cafe says to close at 8 pm but rejects entrance starting 7 pm. Only found some okay low cost restaurants.Noteworthy details: Motel level rooms are too expensive that I simply cannot unseen.

Room is motel level. You can see yellow stain in the bathroom tub. Bed has plastic cover underneath with plastic sound. During the night, you can hear the noise from outside.Public area is great with nice ocean view and fireplace during the night.Staffs are really nice and friendly.

Convenient location near OGG. Old bones, but with a fresh coat of paint & retro/modern touches. Basic & comfortable accommodations, pretty spacious rooms. Very nice staff and right next to Tanto's Restaurant. Right across the street is a mall so in case you need to pick something up on the fly, you're good! Parking can be a downer.
