WHEN I SAW, "Bare Foot Zone" I thought it was just a funny name, but NO!!!! It was ACTUALLY A BARE FOOT ZONE, IT SMELLED LIKE A** AND TOE CHEESE CREAM, I instantly lost my appetite, and the feet were disgusting !!!!! It gave off unsanitary dirty feeling with the service being pricks, I said I wanted a salt shaker and they mumbled under their breath, "stupid customer" and while somebody was using the bathroom, and the with sheer pressure, power, and speed of their crap, they exploded the bathroom leaving my ears ringing!!!! I went in and was shocked!!! It looked like lightning had struck the bathroom which left an even worse vibe!!!! 1/10.

Best açaí bowls on the island by So far! Huge too. I’m a local and this place is my favorite. The ingredients are very high quality with many superfoods. Most importantly she really cares about our health! This is service for her and absolutely done in love!

Honestly the best açaí I've had in a while and it's L O A D E D Got the superbowl(? I think? I forgot the name) which is a HUGE acai bowl topped with 3 scoops of AVO, papaya, ube, among other things but those three things were so unique and made it stand outI assume the lady who took my order was the owner. She's super friendly and sweet. Order took a while (~15min) to make but I can 100% see why. I eat a lot and was properly full from this bad boi Shop is located upstairs and it's got a nice outdoor balcony seating area w cool seats and a view!

BFZ made the some of the best bowls I've ever had. I also enjoyed their Longevity wrap. The ingredients are varied and thoughtful and the presentation is beautiful. Do bear in mind that making food like this is not super quick, but I feel like the wait is richly rewarded by the result.

Strawberry valentine smoothie was yummy, but the sushi was weirdly dry and had too much rice. I think it was very very healthy, but it probably would have worked better as a rice bowl or something. The pieces were so huge and fell apart cuz the rice wasn’t sticky.

This is a nice small restaurant ran by the owner. She takes her time and makes each meal fresh. Be prepared to wait. Serving sizes are huge. We enjoyed the açaí bowl and smoothies. Kids liked their sandwich as well.

I have always loved their roll. It is far from downtown kona but worth the drive (20 to 30mins depending on the traffic) located by Choicemart in Captain cook. Food is made as it is ordered so be patient. Try the butterfly tranquility roll, love always wins, pesto roll, heart roll. Acai bowl are also delicious. Fruits are fresh and organic. Soup of day varies and it is yummy.

Great spot to grab a bite on the way to Captain Cook. You don’t need to be a Vegan/vegetarian to come here. And the owner was so nice - she offered our kids mango!

Upstairs open-air seating in a small shopping mall. Lots of parking. This is tasty, wholesome good food. My first choice to come back to again and again.

I live on Oahu and have had many many MANY açaí bowls... but this place is THE best I've ever had!! The service was exceptionally welcoming! The price was fair and the portions were generous:) The fruit was exceptional! This place is a true gem and worth the stop. We went twice in a few days because we enjoyed it so much .

This place closed down for a while during COVID and now is open back up in a new location. And thank God. It was by far my favorite restaurant in Kona before and it still is now. The food is so great and nutritious and they give you so many wonderful veggies that are hard to find in Hawaii and unlike most places that use bad fats, here they use coconut oil The amount of food they give is well worth the money because they hook it up! The people that work there are super nice and it is truly some of the most soul satisfying food ever. It's like a home cooked meal by your mom who just happens to be a vegan gluten free professional chef. I highly recommend to anyone. Please support than and give it a try. You will not regret it.ph and they have a really nice, chill cute balcony eating area with awesome unique furniture. P.s. My photos don't do it justice at all cause my camera sucks.Vegetarian options: All vegan but even meat eaters will enjoyDietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegan, or avoiding bad oils? This place has you covered!

I greatly enjoyed the Hawaiian bowl. Interesting, and very Hawaiian, set of toppings including purple sweet potato and poi. Plus a mountain of banana and granola on top.

Barefoot Zone is a must!!! My family and I are visiting Kona and have been to Barefoot three times in six days! Everything is absolutely delicious and so beautiful! I highly recommend the Pesto Quesadilla, I could eat the pesto by the spoonfuls! I will miss this place so much when I'm back in Arizona.
