Great bakery! Their breads are very delicious. They are extra large and exceptionally delicious, too! You can't beat the price.

Updating the Costco Food Court menu as of November 15, 2023. They have added a Roast Beef Sandwich and a Rotisserie chicken salad. I had the salad. The chunks of chicken were large, so you need to cut them down some to have enough for more than a couple of bites. The salad wasnt very flavorful, even with the entire package of dressing. It has lettuce, chicken, parmesan, croutons and dressing. Also new to this Costco are computers to place your orders yourself. No one seemed to be using them, but the standing lines werent very long when I was there. The hot dog combo is still the best deal at the Court. They still have the disgusting mango smoothie. I wish they would hurry up and change it back. It's gross with a very unappetizing texture.

As a visitor, i love the costco here. It has so much Hawaii special items, from shirt, to nuts to coffee, everything is so attempting and reasonably priced. Most of the other item here are at same price as mainland US. Not like saveway, i found the stuff there are so much more expensive than the mainland. It's definitely a good place to shop when u are on travel.. i got some rare items here and I'm super happy!

I recently purchased some packaged sliced turkey and ate some out of the first pack without noticing the mold. I got really sick for a few days after eating the bad meat. I had a second package and checked it, also moldy. I also purchased some buffalo wings, which I've purchased many times over the last years. The wings were larger than usual and had tougher meat. They tasted odd, so after getting sick on the turkey I threw them away. I'm out $150 in bad meat. I live on the Hilo side, so driving 2 hours each way to get the bad food replaced wasn't an option. Also, who knows if the replacement meat would be bad too. I'm not sure what's going on at Costco, but I won't make the drive again to stock up our freezer. The trust is gone forever.

Located in Kailua Kona approximately 10 minutes from the Kona airport. It's a convenient location for all the tourists like me who like to do a grocery run before heading to their vacation condo. You can find lots of Hawaiian snack items like macadamia nuts, chocolates, cookies, and Kona coffee for your omiyage. It's a busy place filled with locals and tourists but the staff is friendly and efficient like most Costco locations. The parking lot looks packed but there seemed to be enough space for everyone to park when we went there

Given how there are so many 1 star reviews because of the unprofessional staff with anger management issues, I have an idea. Why not hire normal people who aren't crazy from Maui? I'm sure it'll be a win for customers, win for the sane workers, and win for Costco corporate.

Got new tires here but they lost one of my locking Lug nuts. Instead of telling me this, they removed the other 3 locks and put on the regular lug nuts without notifying me. The next day when I noticed, I went back and they claimed it only came in with 3 so they removed the other ones to make it "even". So I had over $1000 worth of new tires and no locks. Not cool. A few months later I called for a tire rotation and they booked me on a day they were closed, Labor day. I even verified with the guy that they were going to be open and he said they would. I drove over an hour round trip just to find out they were closed. This is a very poor way to run a business.

Part of the reason why this Costco is so awesome is because it's never that crowded. On a Saturday afternoon or morning or a Thursday afternoon, the parking lot and food court are never that crazy. This Costco has all of the standard offering from poke, prepared shwarma meals, frozen lasagnas and frozen pizzas. They didn't have as many Hawaiian specialty items as we would have liked, though they had taro chips, shrimp chips and microwave popcorn with mochi and furikake. This Costco has self checkout which is nice if you're just popping in for a few things.

No bringing drinks inside of the store (strange, but ok). Typical Costco store with lots of local goodies. Great spot for men's swim trunks, polos and Hawaiian shirts!Quick checkout lines with self checkout options. Plenty of parking and a Costco gas station on site.Busy food court with long lines, but it moved pretty fast. They have mango smoothies available at the food court for $2.99! They also have tables around the other side of the building (away from the food court), that features tables and epic ocean views.

Costco run as soon as we landed on the Big Island. We LOVE that the Costco stores stock local treats to help local specialized businesses. Bought some poke and sashimi, case of waters, refrigerated coconut water, taro and sweet potato chips (awesome), and other local treats. We had booked a trip for night snorkeling with manta rays before we arrived on the island for $139/ person. Costco had cards for a local business snorkeling with Manta Rays for $99/ person. I spoke to a manager and asked if we could return the gift cards if there was no availability during our trip. The manager said yes, so we purchased the gift cards and booked our trip with Kona Snorkeling Trips online. The snorkeling was an awesome night dive with 16 people in our group. We saw a group of about ten HUGE manta rays doing summersaults directly under us. Beautiful and breathtaking! We also booked a $99 half day fishing trip through the Bite Me fishing trips also using the gift cards at Costco. My two sons and I each caught a fish on the half day trip which included a 120 pound blue Marlin and two yellow fin tunas. The captain asked us to donate the Marlin to have it smoked for a memorial service but we did each get to take home a bag of yellow fin tuna filets. We do realize that we just got super lucky on both trips but Thank You Costco! You made our trip super memorable and saved us a good amount of cash too!

Hey Costco, you should consider changing food orders from people at registers and start doing it like the mainland where you can order from a computer and it assigns you a number. They call your number when you're order is ready. This is the WORST line to stand for food and pickup.

As we were staying at a Condo for over 2 weeks, it made sense to buy food and cook. The store isn't close to where we were staying, so we got a ride the first time, and had our rental car the second trip.First of all -in Canada Costco doesn't sell Alcohol, so we were thrilled to be able to purchase it here at amazing low low prices ! For example - Kirkland spiked freezies ! Hibiscus watermelon was my favourite. Strawberry was also very good and Lime wasn't bad ! These were perfect for the pool and 2 of themHad us buzzing along nicely. Then even better was the Kirkland Irish Cream liquor ( Better then Bailey's! ) 1.75 litres for only 17.99 !! We bought 1 each to take home, and drank 3 of them while in Kona! On the rocks, with coffee ( hot or cold ! ) it was amazing !We also got some really good frozen garlic shrimp & chicken wings which BBQ'd up so nicely. We also got some pepperoni pizza, but it was too greasy. Can't remember what else we bought - must of been from all the Irish Cream!

Love Costco! The hot food kiosk is consistent in price and quality in all locations: Hot dog + drink is $1.50; and pizza slice is $1.99. It also has some local specialty such as mango smoothies in Hawaii. Our first stop after leaving the airport. The warehouse is clean with friendly and helpful employees. There are some good local items that we can buy to bring home for souvenirs.
