Hilo Hattie is a world famous, classic store and a must-visit in Hawaii, established in 1963. It is a very nice, clean shop with very great prices and a super awesome establishment. Visitors and locals alike will find it is the only place on the island for certain items. This location is the smallest Hilo Hattie's with a modest selection, but they have a lot of Hawaiian gear, a wide range of sizes in clothing, and some of the coolest prints only available in the physical store. The staff is sweet, very nice, and old school, offering leis to everyone and carefully checking identification. It is a neat place to purchase Aloha shirts, jewelry, and unique gifts like puka shell necklaces.
