Kona Spa Nails has been a popular choice for many customers, with some having visited for over a decade. The spa offers services such as fillings, deluxe pedicures with hot stones and leg massages, and manicures. Customers appreciate the ability to make reservations, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the thorough disinfecting process between customers. The spa chairs are also noted to be comfortable, providing a relaxing experience with music playing in the background and no loud noises. The technicians are described as skilled, with gel polish staying great for three weeks on nails and six weeks on toes, excluding the growth area. The spa is recognized for its value, with prices being reasonable compared to other places on the Big Island. Some customers mention that the salon is cute with easy parking and decent pricing. However, there are concerns about the pedicure paint job, which can be patchy and smeared if not dried properly, especially on busy weekends. It is advised to avoid rushing out with wet toes, as there are no drying stations. Overall, Kona Spa Nails is a well-liked business, with many satisfied customers continuing to return and recommend it to others. Though some experiences vary, many appreciate the skilled technicians and the time taken to ensure they feel relaxed and well taken care of.
Very happy with my nails with it being my first time, I didn’t have to wait long and someone worked on my nails the whole time. Some of my friends had to wait though. Expensive ($94) but I would say worth it.
