My favorite kta!!?***It's a KTA Super Store.*"****KTA has groceries. It has great fresh produce section. Lots of local produce too. They have veggies from local farmers. The fruits are awesome too. Sometimes they have dragon fruit. Depending..It also has a frozen isle with frozen meats. They have frozen pizzas, frozen veggies.And the ice cream is cool. They also have Asian frozen desserts.It has a dairy section, and lots more.It also has a good selection of fresh meats. They have parker ranch meats from a local cattle ranch.It has lots of Asian food supplies.It also has a Hispanic section, too ..It has a bakery with fresh bread and desserts. Cakes and pies.It has a deli and a sushi station.It has a good little bento station/ deli for breakfast, lunch or dinner.It has a great selection of alcohol.It has lots of local nick nacks also.It has flowers(leis).Some local starter plants.And yes. ... It has a pharmacy.I love this KTA. It's the best.** Bring your own bags or buy them for .05 cents a brown bag.**

Been waiting here at the prescription checkout for 45 minutes. When I got here one prescription in my order was ready but the other would be ready "soon". I stood here and watched as the pharmacist came from behind the counter to socialize with a friend and her daughter. When she finally returned to her work station, she talked to a coworker for another 10 minutes. Now it's been an hour and it's been explained to me that a problem with the computer caused the delay. Sure.

Inept pharmacy. They send texts on ready fill program and then can't find the prescription or they are out. I always need to spend 30 minutes here to rectify mistakes made by them. I guess while I'm there it's a way for me to shop the store for things I don't need.

Longs in Hawai'i is a cherished brand, so much so, that even though CVS bought them out in 2008, ONLY the stores in Hawai'i were allowed to keep the Longs name. There are 40 stores throughout the islands, and the first one was back in 1954 I believe. Once you have a feel for Longs, you know what every other branch is like. No matter what Longs you go to, you now what you are going to find. Whether you are going to fill a prescription, pick up some beer, rubber slippers, or some crack seed- Longs has it. They have a little bit of everything, yet not a whole lot of one thing. They have a decent alcohol (hards and wines) selection, yet a not-so-robust beer selection. They have local produce and products, as well as all the Made in China Hawaiian souvenirs the tourists love to buy. There is a massive selection of macadamia nuts and chocolates, as well as Hawaiian coffee. You can save money if you have the time and effort to create a loyalty card. I truthfully don't shop at Longs too much, I can usually find what I need at other stores. I do go in once in awhile though, and each time takes me back to small kid time. It hasn't changed a bit.

Update to my experience 90 days later. Longs has since added a mail order service. You can order from their app, pay and have it mailed to your home. But DONT DO IT. I love tech and I use their app for ordering, paying, and scanning to pick up. But the mail order doesn't work and they lost my prescriptions or they were stolen. They kept telling me to check the mail. It's been 10 days. I even took it up the corporate ladder to help get it resolved. What a mess. I had recently changed dr's and had to get an entirely new set of scripts because I had no more refills. More problems but not longs. That's insurance and dr bs. Now in all honesty I haven't picked up my new scripts. But I can tell it's already going to be a mess because the app shows the new scripts are there but I have to contact the pharmacy regarding the status. Ugh. I know I keep saying to change pharmacies but i guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

My mom and I just moved here and came to get some groceries. Shanessa was our cashier and Lucia was our courtesy clerk. They both did an amazing job with our groceries. KTA is A1 shopping again real soon.
