I was looking for some Asian food selection. They do have some Japanese food but not comprehensive enough to cover all Asian selection. To me, they are like a Safeway instead.

It located less than eight miles from the Kona International Airport. Drove south along HI-19 Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway then right turned at HI-190 Palani Road. Opened daily from 6am to 9pm. Besides groceries, it offered many ready-to-eat food items as well. The cashier was very friendly and professional.

No FOODLAND close by so we picked up Poke & snacks for beach day here. As always everyone's genuinely helpful! Only FOODLAND on the island is further north, closer to Hilo.

Love shopping at local stores in Kona for fun items and small gifts for friends back home. Service always with a mahalo.

Great local produce and ethnic foods. A little cramped. Good restaurants in this shopping center, pizza by the slice, Kona Crust. Arcade, Sally beauty, Jamba juice. Local coffee&tea shop, KFC.

In the fresh produce section I always grab these discounted bags of fruits or veggies they put together and mark the price way down....I think cuz the produce has gone ugly, good stuff but not so pretty. If you see it snag it. ?️

This market is the go to food store in the area. I always find what I need. They have everything from fresh poke, to many assorted supplies for baking and cooking, etc

This is the go-to supermarket like local folks. There's a poke deli in the back. Of course, the poke is just ok, but it is still poke. The musubi was good. The haupia was yummy but they don'thave it all the time. There's always something i see in there that is interesting. The cashiers are high schoolers. Papayas were 1.39 lb.

Not your average, name brand grocery store. A good selection of local and country-specific foods. Priced about what you would think for a grocery in the islands.

First came here to shop some deli foods for quick meals. They have so many Asian foods and we found some hot Japanese deli for half priced at almost closing time! ( Regular price was affordable!) They were actually delicious, and shop staff were very helpful and friendly for tourists like us.

You have to price shop between here, the Farmer's Market and Costco. But this place has like 6 varieties of local papayas for $1.39/lb special sale! And they have the Hawaiian grown by Dole Farms (huge farm on Oahu) pineapples, super sweet, as well as the Dole Royal Hawaiian pineapples. They also have local Hawaiian raw honey. The pint sized mason jar is about $28.You must try the Okinawa sweet potatoes, purple flesh, they're so tasty and satisfying to eat as it is incredibly nutritious as well as filling. Boil low heat in only a little water to cover the sweet potato about half an inch for approximately 20-25 min, do not microwave them as that will make them dry, hard to chew and unappetizing. And the bakery's fresh blueberry scones (2 per container) are so fresh, soft in the middle, not too greasy, not too sweet and had plenty of blueberries, really delicious! Highly recommend!Local Farmers also sell their 100% Hawaiian grown produce here so if the Farmer's Market is closed (4pm and all day on Mon & Tue) you can still visit KTA. Green onion, romaine, Shishito peppers, Okinawan sweet potato, California garlic, onions were all very fresh and tasty. But again price shop as 1 imported English cucumber is $6.79=no.

Great selection of local, Japanese, and Chinese food. They have great bento boxes -- perfect picnic food for the beach. Not crazy expensive, either. Please support this local supermarket instead of the Walmart nearby!!
