i am not one to write a review, but i scheduled an appointment to tour an apartment and the realtor never showed up, and the house looked occupied. i got a call 30 minutes prior to the appointment and confirmed with the lady that i would be there. but she never showed up even after calling 5+ times and staying 30 over the appointment time. i emailed asking what happened, and got a single response asking for more info, then never heard back. called the office left a voicemail, got nothing back either. overall just wasted my time and money which is a bummer.

Never! Cheapest rentals in town for a reason! Rented a condo for 2 years under them & they entered the condo when i was not there! Nor was i ever notified that they came/ went to the condo- my neighbor told me, Collin Love entered the condo! why? i still do not know- they ended our "month to month" rental the next 45 days-

Mary Love Realty has managed our condo since we purchased it in 2010, and we are very happy with their service. Andrea and her staff are always responsive, and with their help, we have been able to keep our condo continuously rented with a minimum of downtime between tenants. Several years ago, we had a tenant who started to become late in their payments. We were in regular communication with the Mary Love staff about the worsening situation and eventually decided to evict the tenant when their rent became a month past due, beyond what the security deposit would cover. A staff member presented an offer to the tenant, that we had discussed and agreed to, which was to forgive the past due rent in exchange for the tenant moving out the next weekend. The offer was presented to the tenant in a professional and respectful manner. The tenant accepted the offer, moved out that weekend, and we went forward with a new tenant almost immediately. We were very thankful that we didn't have to resort to legal action. I noticed complaints in several other reviews about security deposits being kept. We have never kept anyone's security deposit, except for the situation described above. We have worked with Mary Love Realty to keep our condo immaculately maintained, including replacing most of the appliances, installing vinyl plank flooring, painting, and, remodeling both bathrooms, and other upgrades. They have solicited quotes on our behalf and provided access to the condo for the workers. We are delighted with the service provided by Mary Love Realty and highly recommend them!

A fabulous and attentive property management company. They took care of my property as if it was there own. Living out of state it was not easy for me to look after my condo in Kona and screen tenants. Full service!

DO NOT rent from these people if you do not have to. My rental experience with them for a few years was terrible. Condo was left dirty at my move-in day. Issues constantly not fixed, BAD handy man work when something needed to be fixed. Andrea will CONSTANTLY dodge the calls of a man in favor of talking poorly to your wife when she cannot get anyone to properly peform a repair in a timely manner.They are very petty about move out cleaning and will blame pre-existing well documented problems on you if you do not protest very firmly. Avoid this office if you can, and if you find youself wanting to rent from them, read the hawaii tennants rights laws, do not accept rent price hikes, and document through email with pictures ever single issue and repair that is done, because Andrea will try to suck every dollar out of your security deposit when you move out if you dont deal with her firmly.

I found a condo for rent online from the Mainland. It was a perfect fit for us. Price and location was perfect. Only a 5 month lease. My wife and I never had a problem qualifying for rent or house purchases. I ended up with Kelly answering the phone when I called. At first she seemed to be interested in helping us . Later she told me it was company policy that we needed to look at the condo in person, knowing that we were on the Mainland (I have yet to see that policy in writing. That was not possible. I told her all the pics were perfectly fine and i would even sign a document stating Ill take it as is. Later she suggested I have someone look at the condo. Im assuming a colleague of hers as she mentioned she was a Realtor. Problem is I would have had to pay this stranger a fee. Next it was "Face timing" I agreed but I would need time to setup my phone to use that feature that I was not experienced with. When I called her to do this video she was so rude and snobby. She talked to me like I was some dipstick from Texas because I never used Face Time. I finally told her I was uncomfortable giving her $40 for app fee if she was going to continue showing the condo. In her rude fake accent she continued to talk over me and told me she was to busy at that time. Yet time was of the essence (her words). She continued and then tells me that the owner of the Condo looks at your personal info and makes the decision if you get approved. I finally told her to forget it if she was going to continue to be rude and talk over me. I have lived on the Big Island before and the stories about the Property Management Companies in Hawaii are true when they keep your deposit for no reason. I feel that Mary Love Realtors IS one of those companies. I ran away from them as fast as I could. Renters beware before you deal with this company.

People get mad at them. But when I rented a home they very clearly and explicitly stated several times that they were going to charge a cleaning fee now matter how home the clean was when I moved out. But they were reasonable and helpful in finding us a place to live. Furthermore they could have easily turned me down as an applicant but decided to take a chance on me and I am forever grateful that they did. Most importantly though, real estate agents on this island are petty and small and gross. The ladies at Mary love are down to earth, and considerate and I appreciate that.
