Terrible service and attitude. Our family of four walked in - my husband was looking for something for his GoPro and thought to check local surf shops - the guy asked our 12 year old if we were looking for anything specific to which she replied "no" as she didn't know. When my husband finally came in last, he asked about the item he was looking for. The guy looked at our daughter, kind of chuckled, and said, "She said you weren't looking for anything." Then continued by saying, "no, we don't have that," before walking back to the back of the store. Every other surf shop we've been to has been 100% kinder even if they didn't have what we were looking for. No aloha spirit here, unfortunately.

Would give zero stars if I could. Have a condo in Kona and planning on retiring here for next 20 years. Owner is a major a-hole. Told me to go to costco to get an 8 ft board -- very rude and dismissive like he couldn't be bothered. Never getting my business as I surf more and need better boards.

Rude and unhelpful - guy obviously hates his job and anyone coming in is just wasting his time. Pity as it's a core shop with an amazing selection of gear. God forbid you have a question though. Pity as I'm all about supporting local businesses but this is one I will avoid and recommend others to do the same.

Good selection - but the owner is so rude it’s not worth it … no respect from him - even to local groms he was condescending and snide. Prefer other local shops where you feel the Aloha

Great shop for body boards, surf boards, and swim suits. Owner welcomed us when we walked in and was super helpful! They had a lot of cute bikinis made in Hawaii with original designs. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Been in and out of this place for over a year, bought a longboard few other items over time. Each time I’ve been there this guys always angry or upset, won’t be buying anything else here. Sorry.

zero stars, went in two separate times for parts, both times, owner were very rude and curt, no aloha, not friendly at all. support other friendly local shops. this place does not appreciate your business.

Would give it zero stars if it were an option....went in 2 seperate times, and both the old man, and older woman, who were working those days were very rude and short, like i was bothering them when i asked a question. Go some where else thats more friendly. no aloha here.

I met the owner today at Millers and he had the honor of being the only unpleasant person I have met in Hawaii. GREAT people here in Kona. All I will say is, if I snap a fin, I will sooner go into the woods and whittle one out than give this guy a penny. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I don’t want anyone else to unnecessarily have such a bad experience in such a wonderful and special place.

I was directed to go here by local shop owners and chat about renting or even buying a board and the old guy running the place was rude and dismissive. I was in and out in under 30 seconds. Guess I wasn't cool enough and he didn't need the business. Don't waste your time. Go someplace where you'll feel jazzed to spend your dough.

Came to leave a review stating that the owner/operator of this place is a p**** with zero customer service skills: however, I see that others beat me to it. Guess I won't take it personally.

Young lady working there of the day that we visited the store was cordial and helpful. She has great product knowledge and was patient with my son and I. We will be doing more business with Miller's in the future. The board I purchased was awesome !
